Alright! 2012 already.

1-2-12. It Begins.

Who is it?

Chris Jericho?
Undertaker?
Brock Lesnar?
Someone else?

- My pick has been Jericho this whole time. Man, he's trying his hardest to deny that he's the one returning. If he ignored it and brushed it aside on Twitter, then perhaps people wouldn't care.

Since I missed RAW again because of another Monday Night home game... I have to admit, this is awesome!!!!!!!!

Definitely not what I expected from Brodus Clay, but it works. Interesting use of Naomi (NXT Season 3 Diva) and the girl from Tough Enough.

I love the return of the theme, but we need Lamont and Ernest the Cat Miller back.

All last night proved that John Laurenitis is a chicken **** heel. Why they keep putting this guy on tv when he was a never was and went to Japan and only had a job because of who his brother is. Its like listening to a pack a day smoker talk. At least Cole has improved on his commentary, instead of burying every face on the card.

Brodius Clay, I get the dancing gimmick, but Rickisi and Too Cool did that stuff better 12 years ago.

I think that's the point. ;) He makes a terrific heel and has really improved his character since he "debuted" at Money in the Bank PPV back in July.

Nothing will ever top TooCool's dancing! But like you said, it was 12 years ago so that's best left in the past. I'm really digging what they're doing with Brodus right now. If he came back as a generic heel "monster", that would have sucked...

When Dexter told me that "Somebody call your momma" was trending, I couldn't stop laughing.

Then the whole Johnny Ace "I'm sorry" BS storyline, guess you can't lose the title if you are Mark Henry and not cleared, but if you are Ryder and are not cleared you lose it? Why do they need an authority figure anyways? Been watching streams of old school stuff from 20 years ago and you didn't have WWF president Jack Tunney on every week. Mr Lucky Strike isn't fun to watch on tv, he's totally uncomfortable in an interview situation and comes off as an incredible idiot.

I'm going to try this again since I'm always curious as to what the wrestlers "record" are. I fell way behind last time and it became a pain trying to find results after WWE changed their main website. If I can keep this going every month or something, I think I can do it.

As usual, I'm separating the record between RAW/Smackdown along with NXT and Superstars since the other two shows are useless.

Countouts and DQs will be counted towards regular wins/losses. Matches that end in No Contest or whatever similar to it will be ignored.

I don't have a problem with Laurinaitis himself, but what bothered me was the lack of logic and continuity regarding competitors wrestling while "not medically cleared".

The Royal Rumble Card is looking pretty solid.

WWE Championship Match
John Laurinaitis - Special Guest Referee
CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler

Triple Threat Steel Cage World Heavyweight Championship Match
Daniel Bryan vs Big Show vs Mark Henry

John Cena vs Kane

30 Man Royal Rumble Match

I'm sure they can still throw in one more match. Perhaps a Divas Title, US Title, or Tag Title match.

Dolph Ziggler as WWE Champ? Wow, that will put butts in the seats.

Who else on the RAW Brand do you think is main event material?

Alberto Del Rio - Had two short title reigns. Currently injured.
Chris Jericho - I think he's going to feud with CM Punk down the line, so that spot is taken up.
Jack Swagger - They killed his character by making him comic relief material for the last 2-3 years.
John Cena - Done to hell and back. I'm liking his feud with Kane right now and it keeps him out of the title picture.
Kane - Busy feuding with Cena, but I guess another title run in the near future wouldn't hurt.
Rey Mysterio - Never saw him to be a believable World Heavy Champion, much less WWE Champion. Also injured.
R-Truth - Had potential as a heel until Super Cena squashed him at Capitol Punishment. He's now a face again.
The Miz - Had a great run in 2011, including a Wrestlemania victory over Cena. Feuding with R-Truth.

So that leaves Dolph Ziggler. I like that they're allowing him to talk more on the microphone lately and it's good because this guy has potential. What other heel else besides Ziggler do you think is "worthy" enough to face CM Punk right now?

The Royal Rumble match is the main focus of the PPV anyway so having Ziggler in the Main Event for this PPV works for me. Besides, it's time to give these younger guys a chance... otherwise it's going to be a repeat of the last few years over and over again with Cena/Orton nonstop.

WWE Royal Rumble PPV Predictions

It's time for one of the better PPVs of the year, the Royal Rumble!!!!!!!

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Show_Bryan_Henry_RR_2012.jpg
Triple Threat Steel Cage World Heavyweight Championship Match: Big Show vs Daniel Bryan (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Mark Henry

Daniel Bryan is now officially 100% heel and I love it! Daniel Bryan has developed his character really well as a heel and it's way better than the "I'm only here to wrestle" kind of guy. Daniel Bryan lately can still put on one hell of a match, but because he's a heel... he can weasel out of things. That's why Teddy Long made it a Steel Cage match. The general audience is going to think, "Great! Now Daniel Bryan HAS to defend the title and he cannot run." Fortunately for Daniel Bryan, the Steel Cage is going to be an advantage for him because it'll allow him to escape.

I'm not sure how good this match will be since Mark Henry got injured again this past Smackdown. I'm fairly certain that Daniel Bryan will escape the cage instead of winning by pinfall or submission in this one.

My Prediction: Daniel Bryan retains the World Heavyweight Championship by escape.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Kane_RR_2012.jpg
John Cena vs Kane

I'm actually not quite sure where this story is going because I haven't gotten a chance to see RAW in the last 4 weeks! (Thanks in part to all the Monday night Kings home games and my internet being down also) I've read the results and watched some clips on Youtube but that's about it. So Kane wants Cena to "embrace the hate". He wants Cena to get pissed off and turn heel? Maybe someone can clarify that for me.

All I know is that Kane has killed Zack Ryder and John Cena is out for revenge I suppose. But at the same time, Eve has blamed Cena into thinking this is all his fault. Now this one is a hard one to predict. Are we going to get the typical Super Cena winning for no reason? Or will Kane actually win since this is his first big match since returning with the mask?

I am definitely leaning towards Kane though because he needs to win to officially make Cena "embrace the hate".

My Prediction: Kane by pinfall with 2 chokeslams.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Punk_Ziggler_RR_2012.jpg
WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Dolph Ziggler
Special Guest Referee: John Laurinaitis

Poor Dolph Ziggler doesn't stand a chance here. Especially since he got four victories over CM Punk in the last 4-5 weeks on RAW. The story of Punk and Laurinaitis is similar to Stone Cold and Vince McMahon. It seems like John Laurinaitis will go all out in trying to screw CM Punk over. But since Johnny Ace is close to be fired as the Interim GM of RAW, he may have a change of heart.

Either way, I don't see Punk dropping the WWE Title whether or not Laurinaitis screws Punk over. I do expect to see Dolph Ziggler enter the Royal Rumble as a late entrant though.

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

Royal Rumble Match

Here it is... the most entertaining match in the WWE.

Strangely enough, the WWE has barely named the contestants for this match. We know two things for this match.

1) Every superstar is eligible to enter this year... which means that even if they had a match earlier in the night, they can still enter.
2) We learned on RAW this past Monday that The Miz is entering at #1.

I'm just going to list the obvious ones here and give my thoughts.

Chris Jericho - My pick (and probably a lot of people's pick) to win the Rumble. He came back for a reason. He's been trolling everyone for a reason. So why wouldn't he win? This is the most predictable and perfect setup for Chris Jericho vs CM Punk at Wrestlemania 28.
The Miz - #1 Entrant. Probably won't win but will last the longest in the match.
R-Truth - I'm sure by the time he enters, The Miz will still be in the match. Then they can eliminate each other.
Randy Orton - Definitely one of the favorites to win the Royal Rumble since it's in St. Louis. I don't exactly see a reason for him to win it though...
Brodus Clay - Somebody call your mama! He's going to have a fun entrance and he'll most definitely eliminate 3-4 wrestlers in this match.
Kane - I would love to see Kane in the Rumble again. He already has the most appearances ever. He's just 4 superstars shy of tying HBK in most eliminations ever. Let's get Kane to tie that mark!
Dolph Ziggler - Since he didn't win the WWE Title, I think he'll come in late here and surprise some people by being in the Final 4.
John Cena - Will probably get his "revenge" by eliminating Kane here. He might eliminate a top face like Orton or Sheamus just to prove that he's pissed.
Wade Barrett - He'll definitely have a good showing and will last pretty long in the Rumble. I think Orton will probably eliminate him.
Santino Marella - They teased his victory last year when it was down to Alberto Del Rio and him. It would be awesome if they teased this again for sure.
Hornswoggle - We know he's in the Rumble. Someone kill him please.

Mystery Entrant Guesses

HHH - Why not? Put him in!
Undertaker - He doesn't necessarily have to come out at #30 because he's not going to be in the match for long. I think he'll come out right after HHH and they'll eliminate each other.
Christian - I don't know if he's healthy yet... the original timetable was for him to be back by the Rumble. We'll have to wait and see.

Enjoy the PPV you guys!

My Prediction: Chris Jericho wins the Royal Rumble Match.

WWE Elimination Chamber PPV Predictions

Cutting it close! 4:15 PM as I type this... 45 minutes before the PPV. With only 4 matches on the card, you wonder why the buyrate is going to be crap. We're in 2012 and WWE still doesn't understand the simple concept of booking ahead and getting people excited. Anyway, here are my quick predictions.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Smackdown_EC_2012.jpg
Smackdown Elimination Chamber World Heavyweight Championship Match: The Great Khali vs Big Show vs Santino Marella vs Daniel Bryan (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Wade Barrett vs Cody Rhodes

Your eyes are not deceiving you... The Great Khali and Santino are in this match! Mark Henry was originally scheduled to be in it, but because of his nagging injury that keeps flaring up, they had to take him out. Storyline wise, Teddy Long suspended Mark Henry because Mark Henry put his hands on Teddy. Randy Orton was also suppose to be in this but unfortunately, suffered a concussion this past Monday night on RAW when Daniel Bryan hit him in the head with the Title.

Khali replaced Henry and Santino won a Battle Royal on Smackdown to qualify for this match.

Just look at all the contenders real quick and you'll see that no one has a chance to really "steal" the title. So by default, the logical choice is to have Daniel Bryan retain.

Great Khali - Does anyone seriously think he's going to Wrestlemania as the World Heavyweight Champion?
Big Show - It's possible on paper, but realistically... he is already going to have a match with Shaq at Wrestlemania.
Santino Marella - I would honestly not be able to stop laughing if he won. (In a good way) But even if he did, he'll drop the title immediately on RAW/Smackdown.
Wade Barrett - One of my favorite wrestlers. If I had to pick someone to win by upset, it would be him. Only because Wade has already feuded with Sheamus before and this might work.
Cody Rhodes - Still the Intercontinental Champion. Will probably face Goldust at Wrestlemania so he's not going to win.

So Daniel Bryan HAS to win. They didn't book him the way I wanted... a dominant heel champion who makes people tap out. Instead, Daniel Bryan weasels his way out of everything. So I wouldn't be surprised if he found a way to weasel out of the Chamber still the World Heavyweight Champion.

My Prediction: Daniel Bryan retains the World Heavyweight Championship by submission.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Kane_EC_2012.jpg
Ambulance Match: John Cena vs Kane

They booked a crappy double countout finish at the Rumble just to continue this feud. The only problem we see here is that the feud doesn't mean more than it did at the Rumble. Cena still will not "embrace the hate" and acts like the same way he usually does. What Kane said on RAW made me . He said he was going to hurt Cena so much that he'll embrace the hate, but not so much so that he'll be ready for Wrestlemania against The Rock...

With WWE's booking, Cena will likely win this match for some much needed "momentum" has he prepares for The Rock.

My Prediction: John Cena wins.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Beth_Tamina_EC_2012.jpg
Divas Championship Match: Beth Phoenix (Divas Champion) vs Tamina Snuka

WWE slapped the Snuka last name onto Tamina to try and make fans care more. Nope... not going to work. This feud came out of nowhere and I actually wouldn't even call it a feud. Beth Phoenix, with no challengers just started saying how she'll keep the Divas title forever. Tamina just defeated Natalya like 100 times on Smackdown and she's suddenly the #1 Contender.

There is no way that the Divas title will change hand. Not tonight anyway.

My Prediction: Beth Phoenix retains the Divas Championship by pinfall with the Glam Slam.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/RAW_EC_2012.jpg
RAW Elimination Chamber WWE Championship Match: Kofi Kingston vs Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler vs CM Punk vs The Miz vs R-Truth

The main focus of this match is CM Punk and Chris Jericho. We all already know they're going to feud and have a match at Wrestlemania. No one else will have a chance in this match.

Kofi Kingston - Afterthought like Miz said. I know they're giving him a mini-push by putting him in the main event, but the WWE Title? No way. Kofi is better off in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Wrestlemania
Dolph Ziggler - Boy, WWE doesn't know what to do with him. Dolph is one of the best wrestlers in the business but all the attention is elsewhere. He defeated Punk 4 straight times before the Rumble, but then loses pretty cleanly at the Rumble. Then he's been somewhat jobbing the past few weeks on RAW. So how are we suppose to believe he will win?
The Miz - One of the better guys on the microphone and he's been in the doghouse lately. According to the wrestling news websites, they say The Miz lost that "fire" he had from last year. So he's back to mid-card status for now.
R-Truth - Now nothing but comic relief with his Little Jimmy deal. After Cena squashed him at Capitol Punishment, R-Truth will never be a WWE Champion.

That leaves Chris Jericho and CM Punk. I think CM Punk is going to lose the WWE Title tonight. There is always a title change at the Chamber PPV and the only title change that works is probably Chris Jericho. This gives CM Punk something to chase for. Chris Jericho can talk about how he really is the best in the world at what he does, and how he reclaimed what is his. This will allow CM Punk to "earn" that title from Jericho.

My Prediction: Chris Jericho wins the WWE Championship by pinfall.

With only four matches booked... there definitely has to be another match added. But we're also suppose to expect John Laurinaitis, the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Raw (sorry, couldn't help myself) :danc: to make a "huge announcement".

Also, Sheamus (the winner of the Royal Rumble) said he'll pick which title to go after for Wrestlemania after the two EC matches. The obvious choice that everyone is expecting is Daniel Bryan and the World Heavyweight Title.

And when the hell is Christian going to return?!?!

WWE Wrestlemania XXVIII PPV Predictions

WRESTLEMANIA is upon us!!! I have not been more excited for a PPV (since the Royal Rumble). :) My 2nd favorite PPV of the year is here and boy it is going to be huge!

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/TripleThreatTagTeamMatch_WM2012.jpg
WWE Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match: Primo & Epico (WWE Tag Team Champions) w/Rosa Mendes vs Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd vs The Usos

Okay, so this match isn't actually on the PPV. It's a dark match that they're going to stream for free on WWE.com and/or Youtube at 6:30 PM EST/3:30 PM PST. It's a pretty smart business decision since they're trying to get some last minute (on the fence) people to purchase the PPV. What better way to do it than to let them watch this match for free and let them see how big, cool, awesome, etc... everything will be at Wrestlemania?!

I don't expect a title change here since it's not really on TV. Really not much to say about this match other than the fact that it'll be fun.

My Prediction: Primo and Epico retains the WWE Tag Team Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_Bryan_WM2012.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan (World Heavyweight Champion) w/AJ

YES! YES! YES! YES!

Hard to believe that just one year ago, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan had a dark match for Wrestlemania. Now they're both in a championship match. Great going!

Daniel Bryan has been a pretty damn entertaining World Heavyweight Champion. He cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase back at the TLC PPV and has overcome every single obstacle thrown at him. He turned heel by being obnoxious and a coward. I don't mind the obnoxious part, but I hate that every heel has to be a "coward".

Sheamus won the Royal Rumble and he chose Daniel Bryan because he hasn't held the World Heavyweight Title before. Sheamus is your typical "I'm going to destroy anyone in my way" type of guy. He's been on a roll since the Royal Rumble and Daniel Bryan is supposedly scared to face him.

I hope this match goes at least 15 minutes. It should be great because we know both of these guys can wrestle. I hope Daniel Bryan can retain the title because he is so good as a heel champion. Personal feelings aside, I think Sheamus is going to prevail and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

My Prediction: Sheamus wins the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/DivasTagTeamMatch_WM2012.jpg
Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix (Divas Champion) & Eve

The only reason this match is happening is because they somehow got a celebrity to appear in this match... just like Snooki last year. There really is no story here other than the fact that Beth Phoenix and Eve went on the show Extra because they're mad Maria wanted to interview Kelly Kelly only.

Maria has wrestled in two matches with the WWE before and has won them both. This will be no different because there is no way a celebrity will lose. Since Beth is the champ, I guess Eve will be the one taking the pinfall here.

My Prediction: Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos win by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/TeamJohnny_TeamTeddy_WM2012.jpg
Team Johnny (David Otunga, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, & Drew McIntyre) w/John Laurinaitis, Vickie Guerrero, and Brie Bella vs Team Teddy (Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, The Great Khali & Booker T) w/Teddy Long, Aksana, Hornswoggle, and Nikki Bella
Winner to become GM of both RAW and Smackdown

Quick side note before I talk about this match. Christian was originally on Team Johnny but apparently his recovery from his ankle injury isn't ready yet... so they took him out of this match and replaced him with Drew McIntyre. But there was a stipulation for Christian joining Team Johnny and that was if Team Johnny won the match, he would get a title shot. So we'll see if that plays in when he is healthy again.

Anyway, here's that big tag match that puts many superstars in the PPV. Team Johnny and Team Teddy, winner gets control of both shows. It's pretty obvious who is going to win here. Teddy Long has worn out his welcome as the GM of Smackdown. "I'm going to book a Tag Team Match playa!"

John Laurinaitis has sure come a long way ever since he feuded with CM Punk. He has been entertaining as hell. No wonder why they call him Mr. Excitement!

Anyway, this isn't a elimination match (though it should be). So expect one huge cluster**** of a finish with everyone hitting their finishing moves on each other. I'm looking for David Otunga, the captain for Team Johnny to get the pinfall victory on Santino, the captain for Team Johnny.

My Prediction: Team Johnny wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Rhodes_BigShow_WM2012.jpg
Intercontinental Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (Intercontinental Champion) vs Big Show

This one is going to be tricky. Cody Rhodes has had the upper hand on this feud because he's made fun of the Big Show nonstop. His reason for pissing off Big Show is because he's not afraid of him. He knows Big Show will choke at Wrestlemania. According to WWE.com, Big Show's record at Wrestlemania is 3-8. The majority of the time, Big Show has been in joke matches since it's hard to book him in a match.

But here is one thing you probably didn't know about Big Show. It turns out that he is the only superstar to have ever held the WWE, WCW, World Heavyweight, ECW, WWE Tag Team, WCW Tag Team, United States, and Hardcore Championship. The only title that has alluded him has been the Intercontinental Championship. Going into this feud, I was almost certain that Cody Rhodes is going to win and it'll propel him to the main event level. Now I'm not too sure... because Big Show needs to make history.

My Prediction: Big Show wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Undertaker_HHH_WM2012.jpg
Hell in a Cell Match: Undertaker vs HHH
Special Guest Referee: HBK

This match is going to be great. I cannot wait. The feud was set up pretty good but it could have been better. Basically, since it's Wrestlemania time, Undertaker shows up again. He wants a rematch against HHH but HHH declined. The reason HHH declined was because he said even though he lost the match last year, it was Undertaker that had to be carried out. Undertaker didn't want his legacy to be remembered as the guy who had to be carried out.

HBK then shows up on RAW and tried to get HHH to fight Undertaker one more time. HHH still refuses until Undertaker mentioned that HHH is afraid that he is not better than Shawn Michaels. Then seemingly out of nowhere, HBK said he was appointed the referee in this match. That's my only gripe on the feud. It would have been better if HHH or Undertaker asked him to be a ref, so he can witness it himself.

Either way, they're only leaning one side in this match in terms of story and that is HBK will help HHH win the match because HBK wants Undertaker to lose his Wrestlemania streak. Shawn thinks that if he couldn't end the streak himself, he'll help HHH. Undertaker wanted HBK to stay neutral by saying that HBK is better than HHH. This way, if HBK helps HHH win the match, then HHH is better than Shawn.

Does any of that make sense? Good. :) Oh, and they're fighting inside Hell in a Cell since these two made that match famous. Don't get excited about them possibly actually using the cell as a weapon... because they won't.

I'm thinking this match goes 30 minutes at least... not including the video package and entrances. The main focus will be whether or not HBK interferes really. I think he'll stand aside and tease helping HHH throughout the whole match. Up until the end where HBK will most likely give HHH a Sweet Chin Music to secure Undertaker's streak at 20-0.

My Prediction: Undertaker wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Kane_Orton_WM2012.jpg
Kane vs Randy Orton

After a big match like Taker/HHH, we need a bathroom break match. And unfortunately for Orton and Kane, that's what they'll have to put up with. Now Orton has been injured with a concussion here and there, which is why he doesn't really have a big feud leading up to Wrestlemania. Kane meanwhile, got buried by Cena (who didn't embrace the hate)... what a waste.

Kane then went after Orton because he shook Orton's hand last summer after the two fought. Kane said it was that handshake he offered that made Kane realize he's not the monster he should be. I guess that's reason enough for him to go after The Viper. I honestly don't care who wins, nor am I excited about this match. I think Orton will win with an RKO just because he's Orton.

My Prediction: Randy Orton wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Punk_Jericho_WM2012.jpg
WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Chris Jericho

This match has the best odds of being a potential show stealer. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho. Now, Jericho came back to the WWE because he has always been known as the best in the world at what he does. CM Punk has recently called himself the best of the world as well.

This feud was perfect the way it was until Jericho started mentioning Punk's father and sister. Storyline wise, Jericho is suppose to be the master of mindgames and he is screwing with Punk. I personally thought their feud was fine originally. The match should have just been to show who was the best in the world, period. There will be lots of near-falls in this match (but what match wouldn't have it at Wrestlemania)?

I'm going to have to pick Jericho as the winner here because he didn't win the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber PPV. I mean, what would be the point of bringing Jericho back if he wasn't going to win the WWE Title from Punk? We all know Jericho is leaving again the summer, so a short title reign will have to do.

My Prediction: Chris Jericho wins the WWE Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Rock_WM2012.jpg
John Cena vs The Rock

And finally... the biggest match of them all. The match that was booked ONE YEAR in advance is finally here. I'm not going to hide it (though I'm sure you already know) that I'm on Team Bring It. I really dislike Cena. ;)

We have John Cena, the modern day Hulk Hogan against The Rock, arguably the best guy on the mic in the history of the WWE.

As you already know... John Cena has catered mostly to women and children. He doesn't have more than 5 moves in his arsenal and he can go into Super Cena mode at any time to win the match. This is the MAIN REASON as to why everyone hates him.

The Rock on the other hand, left the WWE to become a movie star. Success. The Rock was huge back in the Attitude Era and he wants to make history by winning here. The reason why The Rock is going after Cena is because Cena is the biggest superstar of this era. The Rock said he wants to be known as the guy who has beaten Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, and John Cena.

Back at Wrestlemania 18, when The Rock defeated Hulk Hogan... I considered that as a "passing of the torch" from Hogan to The Rock. Unfortunately, I see the same thing happening here at Wrestlemania 28. Let's face it... what John Cena said is true. After Wrestlemania, The Rock will disappear again to make his movies and John Cena will still be here. With that said, it's pretty obvious when you have to decide who should win as opposed to who will win.

No doubt these two will go back and forth. The Rock will use the People's Elbow, John Cena will counter with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. The crowd (I think) will be 75/25 in favor of The Rock. So unless WWE wants to have more matches between these two, Cena is going to win it.

My Prediction: John Cena wins by pinfall after 2-3 Attitude Adjustments.

There is also late breaking news/rumor that Brock Lesnar is schedule to be at Wrestlemania. Internet reports say that he signed a one-year deal to return! Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. Either way, enjoy the PPV folks! Share your thoughts here, don't be shy!

WWE Extreme Rules PPV Predictions

Wrestlemania was a really good show and I enjoyed it. The only thing I hated was the stupid 18 second "match" between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus. Now it's onto Extreme Rules, where every match has a stipulation for some unknown reason... If you look at the card, you'll notice that almost all the matches is pretty much the same as Wrestlemania 28. Come on WWE! You have got to do better than that. The only thing I care about is the Lesnar match and apparently, that's all they care about as well.

One thing to look forward to is that this PPV is in Chicago. They're going to give the Wrestlemania crowd in Miami a run for their money, so that should make this PPV extra fun.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Santino_Miz_ER_2012.jpg
WWE United States Championship Match: Santino Marella (United States Champion) vs The Miz

It looks like WWE is going to have Pre-Show matches from now on before the PPVs in hopes that people will order at the last minute. Man, how The Miz has fallen. A Pre-Show match for him?! REALLY? REALLY? REALLY?! Also, having a United States Championship Match on the Pre-Show speaks volumes about the title too. Unfortunate.

I really can't see The Miz winning this match when it's not technically "televised". Expect Santino to win easily in this comedy match to get the crowd buzzing... though I don't think the crowd in Chicago will need a Pre-Show buzz.

My Prediction: Santino retains the United States Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Orton_Kane_ER_2012.jpg
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Randy Orton vs Kane

Not much to say here... Kane won cleanly during Wrestlemania. Orton won the next night on RAW. They have a rematch anyway because apparently Kane wants to. I fully expect Orton to win here and hopefully the two can move on and feud with someone else. Only thing I am going to expect in this match is that they'll fight throughout the arena.

My Prediction: Randy Orton wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Nikki_Phoenix_ER_2012.jpg
Nikki Bella (Divas Champion) w/Brie Bella vs Beth Phoenix

Nikki won the Divas title on RAW this past Monday when Beth Phoenix sold an ankle injury. Rumors has it that the Bella Twins are done with the WWE at the end of April so the logical thing to do is to let Nikki hold the Divas title (since Brie had it before too). This way, Beth is "injured" and you can have Kharma make her return and kill off the twins.

With that said, I don't see Beth retaining at all. I see her struggling in this match to sell the injury and eventually Nikki will retain. Kharma can come out and destroy both twins and maybe along with Beth to set up a future feud.

My Prediction: Nikki Bella retains the Divas Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Rhodes_Show_ER_2012.jpg
Intercontinental Championship Match: Cody Rhodes vs Big Show (Intercontinental Champion)
Match stipulation to be announced

Ever since Big Show won the Intercontinental Title, Cody Rhodes has been on the losing end of things. They haven't determined a stipulation yet but I don't think it matters. I would say it's time for Cody to move on to the World Heavyweight Title picture, but that's currently filled up with Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and Alberto Del Rio. I hate to say it, but I have zero interest in this match.

If I had to do some fantasy booking here... I would definitely let Big Show retain and make him a strong IC Champion. Since they're pushing Ryback, why not have him destroy Big Show to win the Intercontinental Title? That would be cool to see.

My Prediction: Big Show retains the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_Bryan_ER_2012.jpg
2 out of 3 Falls World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Daniel Bryan

YES! YES! YES! YES!

Guess what WWE? Your attempt to make Daniel Bryan lose in 18 seconds backfired in a BIG WAY. The hardcore wrestling fans were pissed at the treatment on one of your best wrestlers in the business today and are rebelling by chanting YES! YES! YES! YES! to everything.

WWE is extremely oblivious to who is popular (*COUGH* Zack Ryder) and who is not (Sheamus). WWE wants Sheamus to be a long term World Heavyweight Champion going forward and it's just not the right time. Nothing against Sheamus since he was just following orders to win the match in 18 seconds, but when something backfires, you need to change your plans. But again, WWE is dead set on a Sheamus/Alberto Del Rio feud, so it's highly unlikely to see Daniel Bryan win tonight.

This match is 2 out of 3 falls so it'll definitely be longer than 18 seconds. Don't be surprised though if they have Sheamus win one fall with another quick Brogue Kick just because they can make fun of it some more. I can see Daniel Bryan winning one fall of his own with the YES-Lock.

But as for the last fall, I'm fully expecting AJ to come out in some capacity and cost Daniel Bryan the match. Either way, the match should be awesome and the crowd will be 100% behind Daniel Bryan and Cole, King, Booker will pretend they didn't hear anything from the crowd. Oh yeah, almost forgot... Sheamus got "fined" $500,000 for attacking a ref on Smackdown after Wrestlemania. So expect Daniel Bryan to play the coward role and hide behind the ref a lot. Keep in mind, it's not something Daniel Bryan would do... it's just what WWE wants him to do.

My Prediction: Sheamus retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Punk_Jericho_ER_2012.jpg
Chicago Street Fight WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Chris Jericho

Okay, I predicted that Jericho would win the Rumble and I was wrong. I predicted that Jericho would win in the Elimination Chamber and I was wrong. I then predicted that Jericho would win at Wrestlemania and again... I was wrong! WHAT THE HELL?! I guess Jericho didn't come back to win the WWE Championship after all.

What does kind of suck about the WWE Title is that it has taken a back seat to John Cena, The Rock, and now Brock Lesnar. So maybe that's why they have kept the WWE Championship on CM Punk. This feud isn't about who is the best in the world anymore. Jericho and Punk have made it personal and practically want to kill each other ever since Jericho kept pouring alcohol all over Punk.

Jericho has had the upper hand time and time again, so it will be no surprise to see CM Punk retain in Chicago of all places.

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Lesnar_Cena_ER_2012.jpg
Extreme Rules Match: Brock Lesnar vs John Cena

Now *THIS* match is going to be fun. Brock Lesnar makes his return to the ring and I don't see him losing. Brock came back because he wants to legitimacy back to the WWE. John Cena on the other hand, is just willing to fight Brock because Brock is going after him. This past Monday on RAW, Brock made a long list of demands... very similar to CM Punk last year about wanting a private jet, and all that good stuff.

If Brock Lesnar defeats John Cena at Extreme Rules then RAW will have to be called "Monday Night Raw: Starring Brock Lesnar." It has a nice ring to it doesn't it? I can see them going with this because it will be funny and will give Cena a reason to finally win.

This will be a fun match for the Cena haters because he'll get hit by weapons!!! :woot:

My Prediction: Brock Lesnar by pinfall after a couple of F-5s

WWE Over the Limit PPV Predictions

Extreme Rules was a pretty decent PPV... up until Lesnar vs Cena. The match itself was good, but Super Cena winning in 2 moves ruined it for me. Nothing new really... *sigh*

Now it's time for a PPV again. Over the Limit. With the way WWE booked this PPV, they'll be lucky if they get 100 buys... Continue reading if you wish and you'll see why this PPV is pointless and a waste of time.

There's only 5 matches on the card... so expect a Ryback and/or Brodus Clay squash match. Also rumored for the PPV is Santino vs Cody Rhodes for bragging rights I guess.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Ryder_Kane_OTL_2012.jpg
Zack Ryder vs Kane

Looks like pre-show matches are going to be permanent now in hopes for a last minute purchase for people on the fence. Zack Ryder is a decent wrestler with great charisma. WWE creative does not know how to book him at all. What a waste of his popularity. Such a shame. Kane on the other hand has just been around lately. He lost to Orton at Extreme Rules so he has no one to feud with now.

WWE never really gave Zack Ryder a chance to get his revenge on Kane and there is certainly no way he'll get his revenge on a pre-show. Kane will probably win this match in a few minutes.

My Prediction: Kane wins by pinfall via chokeslam.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/KofiTruth_ZigglerSwagger_OTL_2012.jpg
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger w/Vickie Guerrero

What is Dolph Ziggler doing in a Tag Team Championship match you ask? Why it's because WWE doesn't know how to use him properly either. Ziggler should be fighting for the WWE Title, but instead he's stuck in the midcards again along with Swagger. These four will definitely put on a good match, but there is no point of the title changing hands. Also, Primo and Epico are still waiting in the wings because they haven't used their rematch clause yet. I'm guessing Swagger takes the fall here just because WWE likes to make him look like a goof.

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston and R-Truth retains the WWE Tag Team Championship.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Phoenix_Layla_OTL_2012.jpg
Beth Phoenix vs Layla (Divas Champion)

Layla defeated Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules to win the Divas Title. Welcome back Layla. Now the only problem with Layla is... WHY should people cheer for her? Just because she's fighting against Beth Phoenix? There's absolutely no storyline here either. Kharma is waiting for creative to think of something for her as well but since there's nothing... she never shows up.

Since Layla just returned last month after being out a year, do you have her drop the title for no reason? You tell me. I think this will be a rehash of Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix last year. Beth will dominate the match and then Layla will win with a rollup or something.

My Prediction: Layla retains the Divas Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_DelRio_Jericho_Orton_OTL_2012.jpg
Fatal Four Way World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio vs Chris Jericho vs Randy Orton

Originally, this was suppose to be Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio. Unfortunately, with a lack of story and creativity... WWE decided to throw Jericho and Orton into the mix. At least a Fatal Four Way will somewhat help this match be a little more interesting.

This one is a toss up really. I figure Sheamus would easily retain against Del Rio but because they added Jericho and Orton, I see either of them winning. The main focus on Smackdown seem to be Sheamus and Orton trying to one-up each other, completely forgetting about Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho. Now since Alberto Del Rio doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning, I'm going to lean towards Jericho sneaking a win.

Besides, Jericho is due for a title win. He came back only to lose to Punk for 3-4 PPVs in a row.

My Prediction: Chris Jericho wins the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Punk_Bryan_OTL_2012.jpg
WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan won the beat the clock challenge after Extreme Rules to become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. Good for him. Now this match is the *ONLY* match I care to watch. I'm hoping WWE will give them at least 25 minutes for this one and it should be fun. I know CM Punk would personally have no problem dropping the title to Daniel Bryan but we all know Vince won't allow that.

Either way, I'm expecting a fun match just on a wrestling basis.

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Laurinaitis_OTL_2012.jpg
John Cena vs John Laurinaitis
If John Laurinaitis loses, he is officially terminated.

Oh dear lord... this is the main event. x100

The stipulation in this match is that no one can interfere or else they'll be fired. So that means Mr. Laurinaitis can get no help from Lord Tensai, Brock Lesnar, or anyone else.

But the story here is really John Laurinaitis being the typical heel GM who abuses his power. He fired Big Show for making fun of him and no matter how much Big Show begged, he still got fired. So it's pretty obvious what is going to happen here. Big Show will return and make the crowd think he's going to get revenge on Laurinaitis and beat the crap out of him. But then Big Show will attack John Cena and cost him the match.

It adds up easily. Big Show helps Laurinaitis to get his job back... and because of Laurinaitis is fired, Big Show wouldn't be able to get re-hired. Makes sense. I don't know what else they're really going to do to kill time on the PPV. But please keep this short WWE.

My Prediction: John Laurinaitis by pinfall after Big Show hits the WMD on Cena.

In crazy news... I just went to WWE.com and saw this.

Chris Jericho has been suspended indefinitely due to an irresponsible act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a WWE live event in S?o Paulo on May 24. WWE has apologized to the citizens and the government of Brazil for this incident.

According to fan reports, Jericho was in a match with CM Punk. Jericho took a Brazilian flag Punk was holding, threw it to the ground, and stomped on it. According to F4WOnline.com, the story is that he was almost arrested and ended up being rushed to the airport to get out of the country into Ecuador.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

At a WWE Live Event in at S?o Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday evening, Chris Jericho reportedly denigrated the Brazilian flag during a match against WWE Champion CM Punk. Suspended indefinitely, Jericho responded to the incident in his own words.

“I made a bad judgment call in the course of entertaining [WWE] fans in Brazil,” Jericho told WWE.com. “I apologized to the people in the crowd for showing disrespect.”

During Jericho’s match with the WWE Champion at S?o Paulo’s Gin?sio do Ibirapuera, the flag found its way into the ring, where Jericho crumpled it up and then kicked it.

Local law enforcement stopped the bout and gave Jericho the opportunity to apologize to those in attendance or face incarceration. The former World Champion expressed his regret to the crowd and the WWE Live Event continued.

Due to his actions, WWE officials suspended Jericho indefinitely.

“It was a bad move,” Jericho said. “I did it with [our] fans’ entertainment in mind and I’ll accept the consequences for that.”

I always take news like this with a grain of salt, but if Jericho is suspended indefinitely for this the E is a lot more hypocritical than I thought, and is even pushing me further away from watching again. Jericho has always done stuff like this in the name of entertainment whether its right or wrong is up to the individual, maybe a reprimand or a fine to be paid to Brazil but to make it a probable fireable offense is offensive to me especially from a company that brought us Katie Vick and a history of wrestlers spitting on flags

It's been years since I watched wrestling consistently but I tune in occasionally to see if it's improved. Somehow the wrestling is worse, the babyface's suck ass, and the storylines just seem worse. TNA isn't any better than WWE. I understand WWE has toned it down considerably from when I watched it which may be part of it but when The Rock and the Stone Cold (and even really guys like Kurt Angle) were the company it just couldn't be beat. It doesn't help that guys like Shamus are terrible on the mic and Cena is so freaking cheesy and yet that's who WWE shoves down our throats year after year. It baffles me because they have Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Jericho who consistently perform well and show there are great wrestlers/personalities out there, WWE just needs to support and push more of them.

WWE No Way Out PPV Predictions

Over the Limit was surprisingly solid, until the main event yet again. John Cena vs John Laurinaitis was absolutely pathetic to watch. If they really want Laurinaitis vs Cena, they should have made that a mid-card match and saved the WWE or World Heavyweight Title for last.

How many PPVs now, has the Cena match headlined the main event over the WWE Title match? Unreal. Cena is so far up the ladder in the WWE, he's a champion in his own right. The WWE Title is out of his league at this point.

So the June PPV is called No Way Out. They decided to bring this PPV title back after 3 years. Why? I don't know. Then again, last year's June PPV was a total disaster too. Capitol Punishment... remember that? The only match I'm truly looking forward to here is the WWE Triple Threat Title Match. The rest will more or less be a dud.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Clay_Otunga_NWO_2012.jpg
Brodus Clay vs David Otunga

Oh look, another pre-show match that no one cares about. They tried making a last minute storyline out of this, but give me a break...

I'm sure you know how RAW has been a Supershow for the past number of months. About a week ago, John Laurinaitis just suddenly decided to "ban" Brodus Clay from RAW, thus moving him to Smackdown. Then on Smackdown, Brodus Clay said he wanted some competition. In a joke, Heath Slater came out only for Brodus to squash him. As he was dancing, David Otunga ambushed him from behind and beat Brodus up.

That's your "story" right there. But since it's on a Pre-Show, you know the face will easily win to get the crowd going.

My Prediction: Brodus Clay wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Rhodes_Christian_NWO_2012.jpg
Intercontinental Championship Match: Cody Rhodes vs Christian (Intercontinental Champion)

In case you missed it, Christian finally made his return at the Over the Limit PPV last month. He was set to come back before Wrestlemania, but he wasn't ready yet. However, Christian is now 100% healthy and back better than ever. Christian even added a new finishing move, which is a frog splash.

The story here is that Christian returned at last month's PPV, won the battle royal to be the #1 Contender. Everyone thought he was still a heel, so he would pick Santino for the US Title. Instead, he chose Cody Rhodes for the IC Title. Christian defeated Cody and the excuse for Cody was that he wasn't ready to defend the title that night.

Christian explained that he decided to turn face again when he inducted Edge to the Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania. He said he doesn't want to be remembered as the guy who whined about having "ONE MORE MATCH". He wanted to be like his best friend, a WWE Hall of Famer. So that's why Christian is a good guy again! :dancingchicken: Cody Rhodes invoked his rematch clause here.

I personally don't think Cody Rhodes will win this one. It's time for him to move on to the World Heavyweight Title picture. Sure, Christian belongs there too... but since Sheamus has the title, it's probably better for Christian to keep the Intercontinental Championship for now. Either way, this match should be pretty entertaining.

My Prediction: Christian retains the Intercontinental Championship via pinfall with the frog splash.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Phoenix_Layla_NWO_2012.jpg
Beth Phoenix vs Layla (Divas Champion)

Wow. Same match from Over the Limit. *Yawn*

Ever since Layla returned, WWE hasn't really given anyone a reason to root for Layla. Then again, the WWE doesn't give anyone a reason to care for the Divas division. Such a shame...

There's really no story here. Beth just wants the title because she is the face of the divas division. Layla wants to retain because she feels she is a worthy champion. Boring. I'll pick Beth Phoenix to win because I want her to. At least that way, we can finally see Kharma return.... right? (Unless WWE loves paying her to do nothing.)

My Prediction: Beth Phoenix wins the Divas Championship by pinfall with the Glam Slam.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Santino_Ricardo_NWO_2012.jpg
Non Title Tuxedo Match: Santino Marella (United States Champion) vs Ricardo Rodriguez

Your eyes are not deceiving you... Ricardo is in a PPV match against Santino. To add further insult to the United States Title, they booked Santino in a Tuxedo Match against a ring announcer.

 WHY?! This match was apparently made after Santino stripped Ricardo on RAW, only to find out that Ricardo was wearing a Justin Bieber shirt under his dress shirt.

This match is going to pretty stupid. I just hope it's shorter than the Divas match... (that won't happen). So I guess you can expect Ricardo Rodriguez to be wearing some kind of Justin Bieber underpants or whatever when he loses.

My Prediction: Santino wins.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_Ziggler_NWO_2012.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Dolph Ziggler

Poor Alberto Del Rio... he suffered a concussion and had to be taken out of this match. Ziggler won some Fatal Four Way match to become the #1 Contender. I'm a huge fan of Dolph because of his great potential. WWE probably knows it too, but they can't find the right time to give him a title run. They really want to give Sheamus a long title reign, so while the match will be interesting... Ziggler won't win this one.

My Prediction: Sheamus retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Kane_Punk_Bryan_NWO_2012.jpg
Triple Threat WWE Championship Match: Kane vs CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Daniel Bryan

I'm sure we can all agree that CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan alone is amazing no matter how many times you put them in a match together. When they added Kane to this feud... I originally thought, "Okay, Kane doesn't really fit here." Boy, am I glad I was wrong!

Kane made it even more interesting! But that's because they also added AJ to the mix.

In case you don't know the story here... Daniel Bryan blamed AJ for him losing the World Heavyweight Title to Sheamus at Wrestlemania in 18 seconds. Now keep in mind that AJ was (and still is) in love with Daniel Bryan. She turned stalker-ish and a bit psycho because of the verbal abuse from Daniel Bryan. About a month or two ago, she started taking a liking to CM Punk. Now, AJ is fully decked out in CM Punk gear. To add fuel to the fire, CM Punk said he digs "crazy chicks".

If that's not all, AJ has also taken a liking to Kane. She even made out with him this past Monday on RAW. AJ has said something along the lines of "The best man will walk out of No Way Out as the WWE Champion." The reason why Kane is so interesting in this story as well is that he is (maybe) attracted to AJ. He tried to protect her, only for CM Punk to attack him because Punk thought he was going to harm her.

So while CM Punk and Kane are fighting for/defending AJ, Daniel Bryan sits back and has fun with it.

A few things to keep in mind...

- Every time AJ has tried to help CM Punk or Kane, she has made them lose on accident.
- CM Punk has been the WWE Champion since Survivor Series (November 2011). I think it's about time he dropped the belt.
- Daniel Bryan wants nothing to do with AJ.

So with all that added together... I'm smelling a Daniel Bryan WWE Championship victory at No Way Out. AJ will most likely "screw up" and cost CM Punk the match and help Daniel Bryan win. I also don't think that CM Punk is getting pinned either, since WWE makes great emphasis on the fact that the champ doesn't have to get pinned to lose the title. So expect AJ to do something with Punk and Kane, and it'll confuse Kane to the point where he lets his guard down and takes the fall.

This way, Kane is out of the picture and we can finally have a CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan 1 on 1 match with no interruptions.

My Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins the WWE Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Show_NWO_2012.jpg
Steel Cage Match: John Cena w/Vince McMahon vs Big Show w/John Laurinaitis
If Big Show loses, John Laurinaitis gets fired by Vince McMahon.
If John Cena loses, he gets fired by John Laurinaitis.

Another, "if you lose... you're fired" stipulation. This is getting old. We all know Cena can never get fired. Even when he does, he'll show up every freaking week on RAW! (Remember the Nexus storyline?) Damn it WWE... be a little more creative please. This is pathetic.

Big Show is now a "monster". His excuse for being pathetic the past 14 years in the WWE was because Vince McMahon told him to. Big Show blames Vince in saying that he was forced to be "entertaining" and was not allowed to be the monster he truly is.

One thing that really bugs me about Vince McMahon returning to TV is because it makes no sense. Vince was as corrupt as you can get, character wise. He was relieved of his duties by HHH because he was "unfit" to do so. Then HHH got relieved of his duties by John Laurinaitis because HHH was feuding with Undertaker. Now all of a sudden, Vince McMahon is back to give John Laurinaitis a job evaluation. WTF is going on? Who is "the boss"? I guess Vince always is.

Since we saw a "shocking betrayal" at Over the Limit with Big Show turning on Cena, I highly doubt Vince will turn on Cena here. There really is nothing positive to say about this match. It's a Steel Cage Match. Big Show will probably kick Cena around like Brock Lesnar did at Extreme Rules. But just look for Super Cena to magically win.

My Prediction: John Cena escapes the cage to win.

Also at No Way Out, HHH is scheduled to appear on the show to talk about his lawsuits against Brock Lesnar. This is just to set up their match for Summerslam.

It's not really Laurinaitis that is making WWE suck so bad right now. It's John Cena and the "OMG, CAN HE OVERCOME THE ODDS?!" thing they're doing over and over and over. It's done to death. Then again, Laurinaitis is part of that storyline, so I guess he does get part of the blame. But the fact that this Cena crap gets main event billing over the WWE and World Heavyweight Title for 4-5 months now, that's over the line.

Also, the WWE has an extremely thin roster right now with all the injuries and suspensions.

Suspended
Chris Jericho
Randy Orton
Rey Mysterio

Injured
Wade Barrett
Mark Henry
R-Truth
Ted DiBiase

Make sure to add The Miz to the inactive list since he is filiming The Marine 3.

Don't get me started with the mis-use of their talents either.

Drew McIntyre, Zack Ryder, Tyson Kidd, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Santino Marella, Curt Hawkins, Alex Riley, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater... the list goes on and on. You have 4 hours of TV per week (soon to be 5) and they still can't get on the damn show? What the hell is going on?

The only great thing about WWE right now is that CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and AJ storyline going. The rest of it, I swear... they've given up and are just coasting. Right now people are literally begging TNA to do something right and give WWE some competition. RAW last night was about as watchable as WCW Thunder. That's how bad it was.

I normally like Smackdown a lot more than RAW, but now it's no different. Sure, they showcase some of the newer guys like Ryback, Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, etc. But it's literally squash match after squash match.

WWE needs to get one simple thing through their heads... we need storylines and feuds for EVERY wrestler. You need to give people a reason to care. /rant over.

I was watching some old Raw's from 1999-2001 time and there was one main difference I noticed. Before and after almost every commercial break there was a quick backstage segment. anywhere from 15 to 90 seconds. Things like Mick Foley as commissioner, or the APA poker game, GTV....ect.
I think if they had more backstage segments, the audience will then start to actually care about some of the other wrestlers and not see how fast they can start a boring chant when it is people they dont really know.

Big problem right now is Vince/Steph decision making. Back in the attitude era, they had Vince Russo write stuff and Vince would approve it or decline it, and McMahon didnt give a rat's ass if the USA Network or TNN/Spike TV would fine them for 'strong TV'. Now, they went back to the 1980's PG style.. although it seems they are trying to find a happy medium between PG and Attitude, but they have like 15 people writing stuff and that just doesnt work. How many times have we seen gimmicks that start and they get dropped quickly? I remember the Nation of Domination, Dx, etc that would last years... the best thing thats happened in years was The Nexus, what did they do with it? it went from a group thing to a Wade Barrett thing (dont get me wrong, i think hes one of the Top 3 future stars), but the rest of the group faded... then they move the Nexus to CM Punk and it was over before that could even get started.

Orton is another problem... backstage complaints have drown WWE for years and they decided to make him a superstar, now Vince has a decision to make.... cuz hes one suspension away from being fired.... same as Rey.

Cena? im not a fan of him, but credt goes to him... ppl hate him, yet he's still a face.... THAT right there makes him succesful all alone... he gets the crowd involved... remember the old 'rocky sucks?' Plus, Cena has one quality that alot of wrestlers lack these days... he can fight a short/ fast guy like Rey, or a big/heavy guy like Show, and make both look good. But i cant even begin to say how many times i see Cena and go "ughh, John Cena again" then at match's end i go "this wasnt bad at all" Oh and why the **** did WWE drop the Cena/Ryder/Eve love triangle so quickly is beyond me.

Punk? was great mid/late last year... but up until the AJ story... he seemed lost.

Kane? what was the whole point of getting the mask back? was it cuz he's ugly? was it to make him seem more menacing? no... it was to sell merchandise!

then theres my biggest complaint, Drew McIntyre... why the hell? and what the hell? why is this guy not being pushed? cant be cuz of the accent cuz Wade has it too. I see him as a 1996 version of Triple H, Vince liked him, so did Triple H.... so why is this guy in the dumpster right now? Is he being punished for the Tiffany incident? history tells us this could be it BUT... a punishment like that has never carried on for a year and a half. Triple H was punsihed back in '96 for the MSG Curtain Call incident... he lost every match from May 96 to Oct 96 (funny cuz he was scheduled to win the 96 King of the Ring instead of Austin) ... losing to the likes of Bob Holly, a old Jake Roberts, The Stalker & Tom Brandi. And that I considered to be a bigger issue than the Tiffany thing. Whats really scary about the Drew McIntyre thing is.... Hunter kept his blue blood persona throughout the losing streak... Drew has been switched around to a mean looking guy, to a whining guy, to a person trying to taunt the crowd, to a gay persona (they tried this in South America earlier this year)... that right there tells you they just dont know what to do with the guy... but the problem is... hes just been taken off the TV completely. Good show overall. Do agree the whole Cole/Lawler thing sucked. Cole sucks out loud and just needs to leave the WWE. He's trying to be Vinnie MAc and just doesn't have it in him.

Loved the AJ marriage proposals. Pretty funny. Would've been better if after she slapped both Punk and Bryant the Godfather came out and welcomed her to the HO Train. (I sure hope the God father appears in 2 weeks)

The tag match does show how sadlythe talent is being misused. The Big Show is a goof and should not be able to toss Kane around so easily. Bad story writing. Cena is lost these days, not working a gimmick.

WWE Money in the Bank PPV Predictions

No Way Out was extremely average and predictable... pretty much what you would expect from the WWE these days. Up next is the Money in the Bank PPV. Only 4 matches advertised for the PPV, that's just sad. Both the IC and US Champions are in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match so there's no title matches there. The Tag Team Champs are stuck in the pre-show, so nothing there... and the Divas division, wait, what Divas division?

There are two matches I'm looking forward to. The Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match and the WWE Title Match. 8 superstars in the ring at once? You know it's going to be awesome. Then the WWE Title match, who knows how it'll end? That's the fun of it.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/KofiTruth_HunicoCamacho_MITB_2012.jpg
Non-title Match: Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (WWE Tag Team Champions) vs Hunico & Camacho

Typical pre-show match that will have the faces win to get the crowd going. WWE has a lot of Tag Teams going for them right now... let me list them.

Kofi Kingston & R-Truth
Primo & Epico
Primetime Players - Darren Young & Titus O'Neil
Hunico & Camacho
Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks
Jimmy & Jey Uso

But as usual, having a bunch of teams mean nothing if none of them are involved in a storyline. I just don't get it. HHH and Vince can't be this blind. I think they just don't give a damn... really unfortunate. What a shame.

Anyway, as for this match... AW even said that the Primetime Players are not pre-show material. Way to take a jab at your own show WWE. lol

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston & R-Truth wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Smackdown_MITB_2012.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Contract Ladder Match: Dolph Ziggler vs Christian (Intercontinental Champion) vs Tensai vs Santino Marella (United States Champion) vs Damien Sandow vs Tyson Kidd vs Sin Cara vs Cody Rhodes

There are two very deserving superstars in this match who really should win... and you can't go wrong with either one. Dolph Ziggler or Cody Rhodes. I'm personally leaning towards Ziggler, just because he paid his dues more. But both of these guys are pretty much ready for the main event. Would I love it if Christian won? You bet. But right now, he doesn't need the briefcase.

Time for my odds...

Dolph Ziggler - 50% chance of winning
Cody Rhodes - 49% chance of winning
Christian - 1% chance of winning
Tensai, Santino, Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara - 0% chance of winning

Tensai doesn't really belong in this match. Vince is dead set on giving him some kind of push... so we'll likely see Tensai destory Sin Cara and Tyson Kidd or something. Santino is a complete joke so I don't know what to expect from him. Damien Sandow has a ton of potential, but I think one huge spot in this match will easily take him out. Tyson Kidd, look for something big from him. Probably a moonsault or something off the top of a ladder onto everyone else. He's starting to get pushed like Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison, the guy who will look good in a ladder match but won't win. Sin Cara will probably do something fun too, but don't expect him to win...

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler wins the ladder match.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_DelRio_MITB_2012.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez

I don't really care much for this match. Sheamus is boring. Alberto Del Rio has gotten boring. What do they expect here? They were suppose to have this match a couple of PPVs ago, but Alberto had a concussion and then they made it a Triple Threat Match or whatever.

Either way, I still expect Sheamus to retain because Ziggler is winning the MITB Ladder match.

My Prediction: Sheamus retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall with the Brogue Kick.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/RAW_MITB_2012.jpg
WWE Championship Contract Ladder Match: Big Show vs Kane vs John Cena vs Chris Jericho

Only former WWE Champions are allowed to participate in this match... yet they only kept it to FOUR wrestlers. WTF? Where is Rey Mysterio? He's healthy and waiting to return. Where is The Miz? He's done filming The Marine 3.

Cena had a "big announcement" and that announcement was that he'll compete in his first ever MITB Ladder Match. Oh goodie... He said he's in the match for two reasons.

#1 - To stop the Big Show from winning.
#2 - To become the WWE Champion yet again.

We all know Cena is winning here... We're only kidding ourselves if we think otherwise. With that said, I'll propose a scenario of what I want to happen...

Cena wins the contract. He has been cashed in before and wants someone to taste their own medicine. So he cashes in on CM Punk and FAILS. This way, you can have John Cena in the history books as the only guy to fail to cash in his contract and win the championship. This wouldn't hurt his credibility at all since he'll win the title back anyway down the line. But at least this will make the current WWE Champion look good because he foiled Cena's cash in.

But what will probably happen, knowing WWE and all... is that Cena will win the contract. He doesn't cash in the contract on a unsuspecting champion. Instead, he wants a straight up 1 on 1 match. Most likely at Summerslam against CM Punk. He'll defeat CM Punk just because he can and wins the WWE Title. Sounds stale doesn't it? That's probably how it'll go then... =\

Back to the match, one other guy who could possibly win is Chris Jericho. The only reason I'm not picking him is because he's leaving after Summerslam again. Kane already won it before, so he doesn't need to win. He also doesn't need to be in the title picture either. Big Show, also doesn't need to be in the title picture.

With four guys in this match... three of them who won't do big spots on the ladders (Big Show, Kane, and Cena), this match is going to be... ugly. I hope to be pleasantly surprised, but I won't hold my breath.

My Prediction: John Cena wins the ladder match.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Punk_AJ_Bryan_MITB_2012.jpg
WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Daniel Bryan
Special Guest Referee: AJ

This one will be fun. AJ has been making RAW watchable and really the only reason why people should bother to tune in. Will AJ turn on the crowd and go back with Daniel Bryan to help him win the WWE Title? Or will AJ do what's right and help CM Punk retain the WWE Title?

The only problem with Daniel Bryan winning is that Vince McMahon does not want a WWE Title Match at Summerslam featuring Daniel Bryan and John Cena... unless they throw CM Punk in the mix and make it a Triple Threat Match again.

There's no doubt about it. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will make this match great all by themselves. I know Daniel Bryan will try to cheat or something but AJ will be smarter than that. There's really not much more to say that we don't know already. Just sit back and enjoy this one. I'm going to pick Punk to retain just because. Besides, they've been promoting the 1000th episode of RAW more than the MITB PPV. If there is a major title change, it's going to happen on RAW and not the PPV...

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

With only four matches listed... expect them to add a Ryback squash match. Oh yeah, Brodus Clay too.[/SIZE]

Really excited for RAW 1000 tonight. They promoted this way more than the Money in the Bank PPV. Lets hope they don't screw this up.

Expected alumni to return are:

- The Rock
- Stone Cold Steve Austin
- Brock Lesnar
- Shawn Michaels
- Sean "X-Pac" Waltman
- Billy Gunn
- Road Dogg
- JBL
- Sycho Sid
- Diamond Dallas Page
- Vader
- Rowdy Roddy Piper
- Mick Foley
- Bret Hart
- Steve Blackman
- Jim Ross
- Gene Okerlund
- Mae Young
- Alicia Webb (Ryan Shamrock)
- Lita
- Sgt. Slaughter
- Jim Duggan
- Road Warrior Animal
- Slick
- Bob Backlund

--------------------------------------------------------

- DX will open the show, that should be fun.
- Brock Lesnar will accept HHH's Summerslam Match challenge.
- Daniel Bryan and AJ's wedding.
- Christian to defend the Intercontinental Championship against an opponent yet to be named.
- Permanent GM of RAW (and maybe Smackdown) will be revealed.
- The Rock is in the house.
- CM Punk vs John Cena for the WWE Title

I'm fully expecting John Cena to become the first ever superstar to fail to cash in his money in the bank successfully thanks to The Rock. Lets face it, Cena doesn't *need* to win the title by cashing it in. In fact, they can turn this into a story where Cena is upset he made a legit 1 on 1 match where as all the champions prior (except RVD) cashed it in when the opponent is vulnerable.

The wedding is also going to be lots of fun. We all know how WWE weddings turn out... will this be the first ever wedding to go off without a hitch? Or will Kane have something to say about that?

WWE is also planning for a major overrun tonight even though it's 3 hours. So something *BIG* is going to happen.

Can't wait! The only thing that could possibly hurt the show is the excessive commercial breaks... but that can't be helped.

AJ is the new GM? WTF. Glad football season is almost here.

There's just no pleasing you huh?

I thought RAW was terrific. Right off the bat, all the way down to the finish. Awesome awesome stuff. The only problem I had with the show was the constant Tout crap they're shoving down our throats. Twitter and what's trending? I can deal with that. But showing stupid casual fan videos and their opinions multiple times in a show? No. That must go.

- DX Opening was terrific. They were their usual self. Shawn was funny being the forgetful one. Billy Gunn looked like he hasn't aged at all! Damien Sandow even got to be in the same ring as DX! It was a fun segment to start the show. The 20 minutes went by really fast.

- Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, and Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, and Alberto Del Rio was just your standard 6 Man Tag. I did like the finish where Ziggler turned on his own teammate Jericho. I'm really looking forward to that feud. For once, it's different and fresh.

- The BEST BACKSTAGE SEGMENT of the night was easily the Layla and AJ segment. AJ got mad at people calling her unstable when there are people right outside who were crazier than her. She opened the locker room door and immediately we saw Hacksaw Jim Duggan. R-Truth, Little Jimmy, and Rowdy Piper. But the best thing we saw was Mae Young and her son.... the freaking HAND! For all of us who watched RAW religiously week after week... that stuff was genius.

- Brodus Clay squashing Jack Swagger was lame. Swagger deserves way better. But we saw Dude Love, so that was cool.

- The wedding was alright. It was odd to have a wedding lead directly to AJ being the GM of RAW. Poor Slick, the only guy to not get a reaction because he was way before everyones time... it seems. AJ being GM of RAW will be interesting. She's the most popular character in the WWE now. Vince just wants to run with what is hot. So I'm excited to see where this goes. We still don't know who the GM of Smackdown is yet... please let it be William Regal.

- Rock's segment with Punk and Bryan was fun too. I'm not sure I like having The Rock automatically become the #1 Contender to face the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble. It would be more fun if he entered the Royal Rumble match itself. I can't imagine them putting the WWE Title on The Rock either, unless he actually works "Full time" between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

- Miz vs Christian was probably the match of the night. Kudos to Miz for winning the IC Title for the first time. Hopefully this will get him back on track as far as his wrestling career goes.

- HHH, Paul Heyman, Stephanie McMahon, Brock Lesnar segment was really interesting. I probably enjoyed this more than I normally would since I'm excited about the fact that I'll get to see Brock Lesnar at Summerslam!! Steph looks freaking amazing too.

- Lita, APA, and all the legends vs Heath Slater. Lita is still as hot as ever. Heath Slater deserves a push after this. What a fun character for sure.

- Undertaker and Kane killing Hunico, Camacho, Jinder Mahal, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks, and Drew McIntyre was alright. Segment was about the Brothers of Destruction. It's a nice way to get 6 underused and mistreated wrestlers on the show for sure. WWE needs to do something with them fast... (though it might be too late).

- John Cena vs CM Punk. They were really short on time here! Wow. Their pre-match intro was done during the commercial break. I think it was kind of sloppy because Punk and Cena had to rush into their signature moves so quickly. Big Show played his part perfectly in attacking Cena since it's Cena's fault he didn't win the MITB match. Punk not being able to decide whether or not he should pin Cena after Big Show helped him was really interesting. The biggest shock was Punk turning heel when The Rock went to save Cena, but Punk stopped him.

CM Punk turning heel and Chris Jericho on the verge of turning face? I'll take it.

Overall, they hyped up RAW1000 like crazy and it delivered. But where the hell was Stone Cold Steve Austin?! They seriously had a 1000th episode without the guy that defined RAW? They had better give a good explanation somewhere... But again! Congrats Vince McMahon. You looked smug all night and you had every right to be. Thank you Vince. :)

--Yes Yes Yes!!!!! I'm going to enjoy AJ being GM of Raw.
--Undertaker looks like he's close to death himself.
--Lita & Stephanie McMahon.....YES YES OOOOOOOH YES!!!!
--Going to love watching Punk go heel but not too sure about Jericho going face (especially if he pulls a Rock move and go on tour again)
--Vince McMahon looked much better now than when he retired from the ring.

I've started watching a bit more this summer since you can watch every episode of TNA/WWE on youtube commercial free immediately. Now I can watch them in 20 minutes (lmao). The Raw 1000 was actually pretty damn good(Lita!!!), just missed Austin showing up but they filled the time pretty well. Other than Austin most of the guys I missed being there unfortunately aren't alive and from the early days of Raw (Owen Hart, Macho Man, British Bulldog, Mr. Perfect, Earthquake, Goldust.)

As for the product itself, the WWE still constantly frustrates me. Mainly because Shamus and Del Rio basically still win every match they are in and it's pretty damn ridiculous. They are lucky Jericho is sells so well and willing at putting over other wrestlers week in and week out. A few weeks ago he hit 3 finishers on Shamus and then loses to a single brogue kick, stupid. Shocking! That coupled with the typical Show/Cena/Punk DQ finish needs to be shelved. They've also decided to turn mid-carders into random jobbers for whatever reason every week(Ryder, Swagger, Sin Cara, even Ziggler.) You have to have the possibility of a win and right now the WWE is completely failing in that area. When you know they are going to lose to Del Rio, Damian Sandow(WTF), Ryback in advance every time it's terrible booking, especially when most of these guys really could perform well enough for a title push(and have shown they can). The funny thing is I think they are about to push Jinder Mahal and he is an absolutely dreadful wrestler and another terrible heel.

There have been some positives. Punk going heel is a move in the right direction simply to change up the championship dynamics. Bryan/Punk/Jericho are still great pretty much every week in and out of the ring. Also, Christian/Miz had 2 great matches since Miz returned. The unfortunate thing is I knew the WWE would have the title change hands when Miz returned since they don't have the balls to do it elsewhere. They are also slowly putting the tag team division w/managers back together with some decent matches.

Ryder - had the title but couldn't get the crowd to care after.
Swagger - there's already too many big wrestlers fighting for the spotlight and it's also hard for fans to see him as a bad ass with a lisp (not trying to make fun of him).
Sin Cara - just like Mysterio and Orton....too many failed tests.
Ziggler - the real deal heel.

I don't really disagree for the most part and I never expect Sin Cara for one to be a title contender but for me it all ties into the WWE's insistence on refusing to let certain wrestlers ever suffer a clean pin.

WWE Summerslam PPV Predictions

Money in the Bank was an okay PPV. I believe I got every single prediction right only because well... it was obvious. Now it's time for Summerslam. I'll be at Staples Center once again with Dexter and Watti. They actually have 7 advertised matches this time around. I remember last year, we barely got 5 announced.

The match I'm *REALLY* looking forward to is Dolph Ziggler vs Chris Jericho. The match I'm *LEAST* looking forward to is Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio.

What's really interesting though is that Randy Orton and Christian, the two guys who fought last year during Summerslam for the World Heavyweight Title... don't have a match on the PPV.

They might add in Brodus Clay vs Damien Sandow. I could have sworn they added this a few weeks ago, but they seemingly took it out. We'll have to wait and see then...

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Marella_Cesaro_SS_2012.jpg
United States Championship Match: Santino Marella (US Champion) vs Antonio Cesaro w/Aksana

For once, this pre-show match has a minor storyline going into the PPV. Antonio Cesaro has two victories over Santino on Smackdown the last few weeks. Cesaro even taunted Santino this past Friday. I'm sure we can all agree that Santino Marella has made the US Title completely worthless. It's not his fault though... he's just booked as a comedian all the time and his matches are completely nonsense.

It would be amazing if they actually have Santino lose this match and allow Cesaro to become the US Champion, just for a change. Unfortunately, due to WWE logic... Cesaro having won 2 matches against Santino will only mean that he'll lose this one. All the pre-show matches so far, the faces have won just to get the crowd going. Another letdown is that Santino was out for commentary when they taped WWE Saturday Morning Slam (Airing Aug 25), and according to reports... he still had the US Title on him.

I just hope Antonio looks good in this match somehow. Maybe he can dominate the match only to get surprised by a Cobra or something.

My Prediction: Santino Marella retains the US Title by pinfall.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs Prime Time Players (Darren Young & Titus O'Neil)

With AW gone from the WWE, I hope that doesn't mean PTP will fade into nothingness. Kofi and Truth have done nothing significant with the Tag Team Titles. I think it's time for some new blood, and hopefully we'll get new feuds for the Tag division. Honestly, having Kofi and Truth retain here would do nothing for the tag division. (With that said, that is very likely of WWE... lol crap)

This match is probably the weakest on the card, so hopefully it'll go first and they can get it over with. I'll be pulling for D Young to win some gold!!!

My Prediction: Prime Time Players win the WWE Tag Team Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Miz_Mysterio_SS_2012.jpg
Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (IC Champion) vs Rey Mysterio

Meh, there's no buildup for this match really. The Miz and Rey Mysterio fought each other a few times on Smackdown, just because. I don't see the need for Rey Mysterio to win the IC title again here. The Miz needs the title more ever since he got buried. But now The Miz is back, and they're calling him a "movie star" and all that good stuff. Plus, WWE had an exclusive youtube feature where The Miz asked everyone who they thought was going to win at Summerslam. Everyone said Rey Mysterio... which means The Miz will likely prove people wrong yet again.

My Prediction: The Miz retains the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall with the Skull Crushing Finale.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Jericho_Ziggler_SS_2012.jpg
Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler

This match has the potential to steal the show. For the record, I want Dolph Ziggler to win this... but I have too many heels winning, so I'll pick Chris Jericho here.

The storyline for this match is that Ziggler called out Jericho and said he doesn't have it anymore. Ziggler said that Jericho needs to step away from the spotlight and let people like him shine. I wonder if they were going with this storyline all the way back since the Royal Rumble because Jericho has not won a PPV match since his return. Plus, we all know he's going away again after Summerslam.

So what I'm thinking is that these two will be neck and neck... and Jericho wins with a surprise roll-up or something to prove that he's still "got it." However, Ziggler could be so pissed that he assaults Jericho and "injures" him. That way, Jericho can disappear and Ziggler can look as strong as ever. Who knows, maybe Ziggler could cash in his contract on Sheamus as well... ;)

Either way, this should be fun. Ziggler probably needs the win, but at the same time, I think Jericho needs one too.

My Prediction: Chris Jericho wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Kane_Bryan_SS_2012.jpg
Kane vs Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan can make any match awesome. They made this match because they wanted Charlie Sheen to be involved in some capacity... but they haven't announced anything regarding his whereabouts. I think it's because they're afraid of advertising ahead of time, and then Charlie Sheen bailing at the last minute. (We all know he'll pull some crap like that.) With that said, this is why I think Kane is going to win. Whether it'll be an interference by Charlie Sheen or AJ, they're going to find some way to make Daniel Bryan lose because of his "anger problems".

My Prediction: Kane wins by pinfall.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez

Storyline wise, this match is the least intriguing of them all. Sheamus has been a complete bore lately with his typical babyface victories. HHH is BFFs with Sheamus, so that's why Sheamus is having a long title reign. Alberto Del Rio has been the #1 contender how many times now? If you want to make him a threatening heel, you need to let him win. It's a shame because I just don't see Alberto Del Rio winning at Summerslam.

Quick story recap here... Alberto Del Rio is the #1 Contender. Sheamus steals his car and goes on a joyride. Booker T (Smackdown GM) actually punished Sheamus by rewarding Del Rio a World Heavyweight Title match on Smackdown. Del Rio however, hired fake police officers to beat down Sheamus. Booker T calls off the match at Summerslam because Sheamus is "injured". But now the match is back on because Sheamus wants to kick Del Rio's arse...

My Prediction: Sheamus retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

Will Dolph Ziggler cash in his contract? Too soon I think...

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/HHH_Lesnar_SS_2012.jpg
HHH vs Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman

I'm excited for this because it'll be the first time I get to see Brock Lesnar LIVE!!! Brock needs this win badly, and not because I'm a huge fan of his. I think the match he had with Cena at Extreme Rules was really poor booking. Lesnar dominated Cena for 20+ minutes if you recall, only for Cena to come back to win by using TWO MOVES. SERIOUSLY! TWO MOVES.

HHH, not being a full-time wrestler doesn't really need to win here. I think it's okay to put Brock over now. If HHH wins, then bringing back Brock Lesnar is a complete mistake. Why bring him back to have him lose? This match is going to be a "fight". Hopefully we can see lots of tables, chairs, sledgehammers, chains, and whatever.. ;)

My Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Show_Punk_Cena_SS_2012.jpg
WWE Championship Match: Big Show vs CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs John Cena

I still don't know why Big Show was added to this match. He's not a threat at all and I don't think anyone can see him winning this one. The story going into this one is that CM Punk is sick and tired of being overlooked. He's been the WWE Champ for like 9 months and haven't main evented in a while. Punk turned heel slowly by making it all about him... almost acting the exact same way when he was leading the Straight Edge Society.

Now keep in mind, Punk isn't 100% heel... yet. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some kind of stable revival. Something that will help CM Punk retain the title so that the focus can continue to be on him. It makes no sense for him to chase the title now after the focus has just barely been on him. But of course, all that could be thrown out the window and Cena could win... just because he's John Cena. =\

I'm going to stick with my original choice, and that is CM Punk retaining.

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

wow Jerry Lawler suffered a Heart Attack at tonights RAW and from reports he was clinically dead for 20 minutes, best wishes to the King and may he stay strong and have a speedy recovery

Yeah, that was really tough to watch.

It happened at the top of the 3rd hour, during the Daniel Bryan and Kane vs Prime Time Players #1 Contenders Tag Team Match. You know how they constantly switch camera angles during a normal broadcast? I noticed that Cole was distracted and didn't say anything. Then I saw Jerry talking to a doctor. Cole's attention was solely on Lawler and he barely paid attention to the match. The crowd then stopped caring about the match and started to chant "Jerry! Jerry!" Cole went back to try and call the match but you could tell something was wrong in his voice.

I was upset at first when WWE "ignored" this situation for the next 10-15 minutes but that's understandable. I was hoping they would cancel the show though with how serious this was. But they kept it going and Cole didn't provide any further commentary out of respect for Jerry. The eerie silence during the Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes match really hit hard. I'm glad Jerry is stable for now, but he's definitely not out of danger yet.

Weird how it impacts us huh? I guess we follow the product for so many years and we watch them week after week... they really are considered family to me. I strangely remember the Eddie Guerrero death because it hit me really hard. I remember being numb the whole day when I heard about that. So you can imagine how hard it was to continue to watch RAW when this happened to Jerry. I stuck around because Cole kept us updated until the end of the show. Much respect for Cole too for doing what he did. He stayed strong for all of us, and I'm glad to see that from him.

WWE Night of Champions PPV Predictions

Summerslam was just above average. They used the 2nd biggest PPV of the year to build towards... you guessed it, Night of Champions. Not the smartest of decisions but whatever, it's typical WWE. Moving forward, the Night of Champions Card is pretty solid and has a ton of potential.

Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender for the United States Championship
Winner to face Antonio Cesaro for the United States Championship during the PPV.

Battle Royal for a Pre-Show is always a great idea. Why? Because Battle Royals are fun in general. Plus, it's the easiest way to get almost everyone on the PPV card.

It's pretty obvious that a face is going to win here since Antonio Cesaro is a heel. Brodus Clay and Tyson Kidd will likely be the "favorites" since they're the only ones that showed up on Smackdown and confronted Cesaro about the title. Zack Ryder teased that he is experienced in Battle Royals himself on his Youtube show. Unfortunately, WWE still doesn't know how to book Ryder correctly so I'm not going to expect him to win or anything.

Either way, regardless of who wins... Antonio Cesaro should retain the US Championship. Cesaro just won it at Summerslam and hasn't really had an opportunity to do anything with it. If Cesaro is to lose the title though, the only person I can think of him losing it to would be Ryback. In fact, that would be the perfect way to book Ryback. Let him tear through everyone in the Battle Royal and then have him win in dominating fashion in the match. If that doesn't generate any buzz for the US Title, nothing will.

My Prediction for the Battle Royal: Brodus Clay.
My Prediction for the US Title Match: Antonio Cesaro retains the US Championship by pinfall.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Team Friendship (Daniel Bryan & Kane) w/Dr. Shelby vs Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (Tag Team Champions)

This one should be fun. Prime Time Players were suppose to win the Tag Team Titles in the near future and this was supposed to be their 3rd match. They were hyping up the 3rd times the charm thing for awhile. But guess what? Daniel Bryan and Kane are on FIRE. You gotta roll with what is working. Obviously, long term... having Daniel Bryan and Kane hold the Tag Titles isn't good. But for now, it's all in good fun.

I expect Team Friendship to win the Tag Team Titles tonight and we'll see where it goes from here. Rumor has it that Dr. Shelby will be their manager tonight. Hope it's permanent for as long as they're together. This is the perfect way to turn Daniel Bryan face again as he slowly recovers from his Anger Management issues.

My Prediction: Team Friendship wins the WWE Tag Team Championship by pinfall.

Fatal Four Way Intercontinental Championship Match: Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara vs The Miz (IC Champion) vs Cody Rhodes

Another match that could be a lot of fun. We'll definitely see a lot of high flying moves in this one. This will be the first time that Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara will be in a match against each other. I don't know if they did away with Cody's obsession in trying to unmask Mysterio and Sin Cara. I don't see The Miz losing this one as he continues his slow climb back to the top.

My Prediction: The Miz retains the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall with the Skull Crushing Finale on Sin Cara.

Divas Championship Match: Layla (Divas Champion) vs Kaitlyn

This match is going to be ugly. Layla has done nothing as a Divas champion. They have built up this "feud" as being good friends and that's about it. Kaitlyn defeated Eve in a Battle Royal weeks ago to become the #1 Contender. Since then, she has been on a roll and even defeated Beth Phoenix.

Eve on the other hand isn't in this match but has the most "character" out of everyone. Right now Eve is playing the good girl and is happy for Kaitlyn. We're all just waiting for her go back to her hoeski way. Rumor has it that she'll be either added to this match or become the special guest referee. I'm going to jump the gun and say that Kaitlyn will be the new Divas Champion just because...

My Prediction: Kaitlyn wins the Divas Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Orton_Ziggler_NOC_2012.jpg
Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler

This is like a repeat of Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler last month. Except this time, it's Randy Orton. Basically, Ziggler wants to show he's better than everyone, including Orton. He even said after he beat Orton, he'll never become World Heavyweight Champion again. In case you didn't know, Orton is leaving to film 12 Rounds Reloaded (or whatever its called). He already said he'll leave on Wednesday which means he'll work RAW and Smackdown this week.

Truthfully, Ziggler needs the win... BADLY. Only way would it be acceptable for him to lose to Orton is if he cashes in the briefcase tonight on Sheamus/Alberto Del Rio. Unfortunately, I just don't see Super Orton losing.

My Prediction: Randy Orton wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_DelRio_NOC_2012.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez & David Otunga
If Sheamus uses the Brogue Kick, he is stripped of the World Title.

Once again it is Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio. They have done their hardest to build Sheamus as a top babyface. I still think he's boring as a face. So storyline wise, everything is going in Alberto Del Rio's favor. He has to win... right?! If Sheamus uses the Brogue Kick, he is stripped of the title. Oh my goodness, how will Sheamus overcome the odds?! Sheamus recently got a new submission finisher (Texas Cloverleaf). So we'll see if he uses that here...

The only way I can see Alberto Del Rio winning is if he uses the Brogue Kick himself to win the match. Another scenario I don't mind happening is if Sheamus defeats Alberto Del Rio, then Ziggler tries to cash it in only for Sheamus to use the Brogue Kick "in the heat of the moment" to defend himself. But by doing so, he is stripped of the World Title. You know WWE, they protect these guys to hell and back... so having Sheamus lose to a stupid technicality is probably the only way so he doesn't look weak.

Wade Barrett also recently returned and said he was open for business. No one knows what that means but maybe Ziggler could hire him destroy Sheamus and he could cash in the contract. Then you can have a Wade Barrett and Sheamus feud, just like that. For now, I'll stick with my original choice... Sheamus, the typical babyface who has to overcome the odds.

My Prediction: Sheamus retains the World Heavyweight Championship by submission.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Punk_NOC_2012.jpg
WWE Championship Match: John Cena vs CM Punk (WWE Champion) w/Paul Heyman

The PPV is in Boston... here is hoping that they're still smart enough to boo Cena. Also, Cena is going to wear PINK tonight. Okay then.

CM Punk is 100% heel now and is doing the whole "I demand respect" deal. He's also paired up with Paul Heyman now which is awesome. Because of that alone, I don't see CM Punk dropping the WWE Title, at least not at Night of Champions. CM Punk has been in the backseat for so many months now. So even though he's the WWE Champion, it doesn't mean much until he defeats John Cena one on one.

However, if Cena loses here... I'm not sure how he'll get a rematch at Hell in a Cell. So it's quite possible that Cena wins here only for CM Punk to win it back later. Because like it or not, we WILL see CM Punk vs The Rock at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Title. This match can go either way, but I'm sticking with CM Punk to pull some heel shenanigans. Perhaps someone else could interfere and join CM Punk and Paul Heyman. Maybe it's The Big Show. ;)

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

Did anyone catch WWE Main Event on ION? I thought it was pretty well done. They did their best in making the CM Punk vs Sheamus match seem like a big fight.

They had pre-match interviews, 20+ minutes of action, and then post-match interviews! Very interesting format. The only thing I didn't care for was the video package hype at the beginning of the show that pretty much just introduces the characters to the audience who may not know who CM Punk or Sheamus are.

They also had a Tag Team Match to end the show, which is a part of the tournament. Zack Ryder and Santino vs Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. Unfortunately, by the time they were in the ring it was already 8:53 PM. Not much to work with when given so little time.

Either way, I thought it was kind of neat. Completely unnecessary to have a random 1 hour show in the middle of the week though.. but hey, if ION is paying good money then I don't blame WWE.

I just feel bad for their crew and wrestlers. They're working all these extra hours and probably aren't getting paid any more than they already do

Monday - Superstars and 3 hour RAW Supershow
Tuesday - Main Event, Superstars, Saturday Morning Slam, and Smackdown
Friday - RAW House Show
Saturday - RAW and Smackdown House Show (2 different shows)
Sunday - RAW and Smackdown House Show (2 different shows)

The RAW roster gets Tuesday - Thursday off (though some RAW wrestlers constantly appear on Smackdown anyway, so they only get 2 days off).
The Smackdown roster gets Wednesday - Friday off.

That is freaking brutal.

I want results, or I want resignations.

WWE Hell in a Cell PPV Predictions

Night of Champions was quite fun. Hard to believe it was about 6 weeks ago! Usually it is only 4 weeks and then a PPV, but not this time... and that's a good thing. Unfortunately, WWE didn't really use those 6 weeks to their advantage because I feel that Hell in a Cell is one of the weaker PPVs.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/CenaPreShow_HIAC_2012.jpg
Pre-Show with John Cena

I'm not sure what the point of this Pre-Show is. Apparently Cena is there to answer questions from fans regarding his "affair" with AJ. I'm sure something will happen to add to this storyline but other than that, I'm not going to expect anything to happen really. Maybe Vickie Guerrero will make an appearance as well.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Kofi Kingston (IC Champion) vs The Miz

Kofi Kingston has finally stopped teaming with R-Truth and is getting another singles push. He recently feuded with Miz and defeated him a bunch of times. Kofi captured the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Main Event about 2 weeks ago.. mostly because it's a new show and they want that show to seem important. The Miz said the title is his and that Kofi is just keeping it warm for him.

I personally don't see Kofi dropping the belt because he's *just* getting a push again. It would seem odd to have him lose it immediately.

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston retains the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/HellNo_RhodesScholars_HIAC_2012.jpg
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) vs Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes)

This match is going to be fun! The Tag Team Division is alive and well again, even if it's filled with temporary makeshift Tag Teams. Team Hell No still like to argue with each other and the commentary guys call them "dysfunctional". Team Rhodes Scholars are also calling Daniel Bryan the weak link, so if Team Hell No loses, expect Daniel Bryan to be the one taking the fall.

I really don't know who will win... it can go either way and it doesn't matter. If Team Hell No wins, you can have teams continue to chase them for the titles. Though I would prefer it if Team Rhodes Scholars win because then you can have Dr. Shelby return and really make Kane and Daniel Bryan finally work as a team. Besides, Daniel Bryan still does the "No, No, No" thing while working as a face. He still needs to embrace the fans and turn face completely. So that's why I think they should lose the belt, come back stronger, and win the Tag Titles again.

My Prediction: Team Rhodes Scholars win the Tag Team Championship by pinfall.

Triple Threat Divas Championship Match: Kaitlyn vs Eve (Divas Champion) vs Layla

You have to hand it to the WWE, they actually have a storyline going for the Divas. Even though their matches still last like 2 minutes... they still managed to build a story. Basically Layla was suppose to defend the Divas title against her friend Kaitlyn at Night of Champions. Instead, a mystery attacker ambushed Kaitlyn backstage and she was too hurt to wrestle. Meanwhile Eve, who was the Assistant to the GM on Smackdown, got chosen to take Kaitlyn's place. Layla wasn't "ready" to face Eve and lost the title to her.

Eventually, Teddy Long found evidence on Eve's IPad (she conveniently left it on a table in Booker's office) and showed it to Kaitlyn. It turns out that Eve got Aksana to wear a blonde wig and injure Kaitlyn. So now here we are. A Triple Threat Match.

As for the match itself... I don't think anyone cares. I think Eve will retain again because she is sneaky like that.

My Prediction: Eve retains the Divas Championship by pinfall.

Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio

Don't care for this match. Basically Orton randomly hit an RKO on Alberto Del Rio... so he got mad and assaulted Orton repeatedly. They turned it into a feud where Alberto wants to take out Randy so he won't be in the main event picture anymore. That's pretty much it... Alberto Del Rio never seems to be able to win when it matters, which is why this match doesn't matter.

My Prediction: Randy Orton wins by pinfall.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Big Show

Another match that no one cares about. Sheamus has been booked too strong and that to me, is boring. Big Show never wins anyway. If he can't beat CM Punk or John Cena, what makes you think he can beat Sheamus? WWE has tried really hard to make Big Show look like a big threat. Though the most intriguing thing here is that Dolph Ziggler said he'll cash in his contract at Hell in a Cell.

They've brought it up multiple times about Big Show's last title reign. It was 45 seconds long because Daniel Bryan cashed in his contract last year at TLC. Something tells me that Ziggler is going to do the same here tonight. Sheamus can afford to lose the World Title, even if it is for a month. Let Big Show win here... and have him lose the title yet again in 45 seconds or less. Now if that doesn't wake up an angry giant, I don't know what will. Either way, Ziggler is the new World Heavyweight Champion.

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler wins the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

Hell in a Cell WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (WWE Champion) w/Paul Heyman vs Ryback

The match everyone is looking forward to. Ryback is in the FREAKING MAIN EVENT!!!!! I'm going to state the obvious and that is... CM Punk is leaving Hell in a Cell with the WWE Championship. The tough thing about this PPV is that it's inside Hell in a Cell. It's not exactly the ideal match for a first time feud in Punk and Ryback. But hey, the PPV is called that... so you have no choice.

I think Ryback is going to dominate early. He has to look strong. Punk will probably try to run (or find a way to run) and use weapons to defend himself. The question is... how in the world do you book the finish? I think that's the exciting part.

Do you get Brock Lesnar to return and help CM Punk by destroying Ryback? They are both Paul Heyman guys after all. Or do you have Big Show rage like crazy since he lost the World Heavyweight Title and have him knock out Ryback? I really don't see Ryback holding the WWE Title. He can't hold it without dropping it and risk looking weak. He needs to get outnumbered and everything. Either way, I can't wait.

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship.

WWE Survivor Series PPV Predictions

Hell in a Cell was above average. They had 6 weeks to book the PPV coming off of Night of Champions and they dropped the ball a bit. Now it's time for Survivor Series and this is the WEAKEST Survivor Series I can remember in quite some time. WWE is totally on cruise control right now and I'm not sure they understand anymore why people should pay for PPVs. It's the same matches from Hell in a Cell for crying out loud. There is only 5 matches booked and only one Traditional Survivor Series match booked... pathetic. Needless to say, I have zero interest in tonight's PPV.

Cody Rhodes suffered an injury during the Main Event tapings and will not be working the match tonight. Rumors say his replacements are either Tensai (who's been buried lately) or Ricardo Rodriguez (just because). Wade Barrett tweeted something about having Fandango (formerly Johnny Curtis) debut during Survivor Series, but I highly doubt it.

Anyway, pretty lazy booking here because these guys are all feuding with each other to begin with. The only interesting here is that The Miz is starting his face run for the first time ever. I'm expecting him to have a strong showing and possibly win this for Team Foley. If Team Ziggler were to win, then I expect Dolph Ziggler to have the strongest showing since he's Mr. Money in the Bank. You have to get your future champion to look impressive if you're going to put the strap on him.

But as for my prediction, I'm going for Team Foley just because CM Punk is retaining tonight.

My Prediction: Team Foley by pinfall. Sole Survivors: The Miz and Randy Orton

United States Championship Match: Antonio Cesaro (US Champion) vs R-Truth

Antonio Cesaro will continue his quest to dominate with the title. His story is that there are no Americans who are worthy enough to defeat him. I still think Cesaro will win until Jack Swagger returns as a face to reclaim the gold.

My Prediction: Antonio Cesaro retains the United States Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Eve_Kaitlyn_SS_2012.jpg
Divas Championship Match: Eve (Divas Champion) vs Kaitlyn

I liked that they tried giving the Divas Division a storyline by having a mystery attacker injure Kaitlyn. Too bad the WWE still doesn't give a damn about them when it comes to the ring. The matches are still as short as ever. Did you know how Kaitlyn became the #1 Contender? She defeated Layla in 10 seconds on RAW. I mean, come the hell on. At least show people you're trying here.

I don't see Eve losing this one. She's probably going to keep it until Wrestlemania or the Royal Rumble. I think if Eve is going to drop the belt, it's going to be to AJ.

My Prediction: Eve retains the Divas Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/BigShow_Sheamus_SS_2012.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Big Show (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Sheamus

Didn't care for this match at Hell in a Cell, it turned out to be the match of the night. Unfortunately, I still don't care about this feud. I guess the story here is that Big Show is unstoppable now and Sheamus has to "bring it". They had Big Show pick on William Regal to add to the story and suddenly Sheamus and Regal are best friends. So Sheamus is not only trying to get his title back, he's avenging Regal.

I smell a DQ finish tonight with Big Show retaining.... after all, this match needs to drag on to TLC right? That is how WWE books things lately.

My Prediction: Sheamus wins by disqualification.

Triple Threat WWE Championship Match: Ryback vs CM Punk (WWE Champion) w/Paul Heyman vs John Cena

Oh look, Cena has another new shirt for the PPV. http://www.pwpix.net/superstars/j/johncena/photo-gallery/gallery1/012.jpg

I'm curious about how Ryback and Cena will go head-to-head in this match. This will probably be the focus and we'll have CM Punk pin Cena to escape as the Champion again. Ryback is way over with the crowd now, and that is awesome to see. That's all there is to say for this match really... I'm not expecting much.

My Prediction: CM Punk retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

Funny thing about Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns (Nexus 3.0) attacking Ryback was that Punk, Cena, and Ryber were all former Nexus members.

I really hope it's a new stable with CM Punk and Paul Heyman and not "rogue" members like Brad Maddox. Then again, cameras did show Heyman talking to Maddox on RAW. So maybe it's his "friends" or whatever... either way, WWE better not drop the ball here like they did with the original Nexus.

Also, CM Punk mentioned a few months ago that we're finally getting a new WWE Title. No more stupid spinner belt. With today marking his 365th day as WWE Champion, maybe we'll see the new title debut tonight.

WWE TLC PPV Predictions

As I previously mentioned, Survivor Series was one of the weakest PPV in years that I can remember. On top of a weak card, the only thing worth noting is that The Shield made their debut at the PPV. We're now at TLC, the stop before the Royal Rumble. Most of the matches have stipulations so that should be fun. I wouldn't expect much out of this PPV though, but it could still be 3 hours of fun!

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/PreShow_TLC_2012_zpsc12b253b.jpg
Santa's Helper #1 Contender Divas Battle Royal - (Kaitlyn, Alicia Fox, Layla, Rosa Mendes, Tamina Snuka, Aksana, Cameron, Naomi, and Natalya)

AJ was originally scheduled to be in this match but they changed their mind since it's probably too soon for AJ to become the #1 Contender. I'm thinking they'll have AJ win the Divas Title at Wrestlemania.

As for who is going to win, does anyone out there really care? The Divas division is at an all time low. The point of this match is that we get to see them in their sexy Santa outfits really. As for the winner, it's either going to be Layla or Kaitlyn. I would pick Tamina since she's getting a push, but there is no way they would put her in a title match against another heel in Eve.

My Prediction: Kaitlyn. I flipped a coin.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/MysterioSinCara_RhodesScholars_TLC_2012_zpsa5284bb 7.jpg
#1 Contender's Tag Team Match: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow)

No storyline here. Team Rhodes Scholars had to win a Fatal Four Way Elimination match on RAW just to earn the rights to face Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. I see Team Rhodes Scholars winning here for obvious reasons. You need a heel Tag Team to face Team Hell No for the Tag Titles. Plus, their run was cut short a bit when Cody Rhodes got injured on Main Event 2 months ago.

My Prediction: Team Rhodes Scholars by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cesaro_Truth_TLC_2012_zps5bb39b0d.jpg
United States Championship Match: Antonio Cesaro (US Champion) vs R-Truth

They just had this match at Survivor Series! R-Truth did nothing to earn a title shot again yet here he is. Typical WWE. I'm still waiting for the return of Jack Swagger as a face. But for now, have Antonio Cesaro continue to dominate everyone.

My Prediction: Antonio Cesaro retains the United States Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Barrett_Kingston_TLC_2012_zpsf036fbbf.jpg
Intercontinental Championship Match: Wade Barrett vs Kofi Kingston (IC Champion)

Okay, I really want Wade Barrett to win the title here... but only because I'm a big fan of his. However, there are too many heels winning at this PPV. Though it's probably okay since it's in front of a Brooklyn crowd, they'll be cheering for heels anyway.

But still, I think WWE is going to keep the belt on Kofi Kingston, especially since Wade Barrett won clean on RAW. I really wish Wade would use The Wasteland finisher, but since he keeps doing the Bullhammer now, we're stuck with it. I can see Kofi ducking against the Bullhammer only to hit the Trouble in Paradise to retain.

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston retains the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Ziggler_TLC_2012_zps21784dcf.jpg
Ladder Match for the WHC MITB Contract: John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler

It would be an absolute travesty if John Cena wins this match. Dolph Ziggler has been groomed to be the next star in the WWE. To have Cena bury him right now... wow. I think people in Brooklyn would riot. Cena is at the level where he doesn't need a WWE or World Heavyweight Title. Ziggler on the hand needs one badly. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Cena did win, and then he cashed in the contract on Sheamus/Big Show just to become the World Heavyweight Champion going into the Royal Rumble.

Let's pray that doesn't happen though. Instead, I hope Ziggler shines in this Ladder Match and then cap off his night be cashing in the contract on Sheamus/Big Show to seal the deal.

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler retains the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Contract.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Sheamus_BigShow_TLC_2012_zpsadf7f040.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Charis Match: Big Show (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Sheamus

Oh, a Chairs match where they can only hit each other on the back with. That should be fun. :Tongue_anim: Since this is Round 3 between the two.. I am fully expecting Sheamus to win the World Heavyweight Title here, but just barely. And BECAUSE it's a Chairs match... regardless of who wins, they're going to be hurt. Cue the music of Dolph Ziggler or John Cena when this happens.

My Prediction: Sheamus wins the World Heavyweight Championship. Dolph Ziggler cashes in on Sheamus to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

If Cena wins the match somehow, I think he would cash in on Big Show. It can go either way. =x

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/HellNoRyback_Shield_TLC_2012_zps7adeb3fc.jpg
Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) & Ryback vs The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns)

In case you've been living in a hole, the reason this match was made is because CM Punk was injured and had knee surgery. Naturally, WWE is playing it off as if Ryback injured CM Punk on RAW.

This TLC match will have to end via pinfall or submission. Normally, it would work like a ladder match, but there is nothing to grab here. The biggest issue here is WWE needs to make sure that The Shield doesn't become another Nexus. This is their FIRST televised match, it would be absolutely ridiculous to have The Shield lose here.

I definitely don't see Ryback getting pinned, but I can imagine Kane or Daniel Bryan take the fall easily here. Have The Shield perform their signature powerbomb on Daniel Bryan through 2 tables or something brutal to make it look cool. This match will be all over the place, and I can't wait to see Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns in action!

My Prediction: The Shield wins by pinfall.

WWE Wrestlemania XXIX PPV Predictions

As I mentioned in a previous post... there have been many things wrong with the WWE lately. It has gotten to the point where I honestly haven't watch RAW or Smackdown in the last 6 weeks. I just don't enjoy the direction it is heading and I don't see any end in sight. I still read the results of these shows and that is my way of keeping up with it. Heck, I still watch clips here and there just to catch most of the important things and even then, it's barely keeping my interest.

So for Wrestlemania, we get The Rock vs John Cena yet again. The very same match they advertised as "ONCE IN A LIFETIME!" A lot of people thought John Cena would win last year as a way of The Rock passing the torch to him but it didn't happen. I think it's mostly because The Rock wanted to "return" and he wanted to become the WWE Champion once more. Since he is the WWE Champion... now he can literally pass the torch to John Cena.

Thanks again for reading this. I know there are some wrestling fans here, even if you don't post. ;) It's now time for my predictions and I'll warn you... I'm going to do a little bit of ranting & complaining as to why I disagree with what WWE is doing.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Barrett_Miz_WM29_zps14f9c2f8.jpg
Intercontinental Championship Match: Wade Barrett (IC Champion) vs The Miz

Ah, the prestigious Intercontinental Title. Lets have the champ defend it on a Pre-Show! It's no secret that the IC Title is now a joke belt and it has been for years now. Quite unfortunate if you think about it.

What I really hate about WWE lately is that they always have the Intercontinental champion and United States champion lose cleanly on RAW and Smackdown over and over every time it's a non-title match. Guess what happens when you do that? People won't care when the champs *actually* drop the belt. Anyway, about this match. I have no idea what they're doing with the story here. Miz lost cleanly to Cesaro countless times a few months back when he was going for the United States Championship and yet he managed to get an Intercontinental Title Match for Wrestlemania. I believe The Miz even called it "The most must-see Pre-Show of all time".

I like both of these guys, especially Wade Barrett. If I had to choose, I'm going with The Miz here because he has a good Wrestlemania record. And if Wade Barrett loses the title, will anyone really care? Nope.

My Prediction: The Miz wins the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/HellNo_ZigglerBigE_WM29_zps46e138e6.jpg
Tag Team Championship Match: Team Hell No (Tag Team Champions) vs Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston w/AJ Lee

Remember when the Tag Team Division got revived and things were looking up? We suddenly had a lot of Tag Teams (Team Hell No, Rhodes Scholars, Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara, The Usos, Prime Time Players, Primo & Epico, Zack Ryder & Santino) and they even had a storyline and tournament. Well, that all went out the window super fast. What happened? It's probably because WWE had all those teams lose over and over to Team Hell No and then they just kind of... gave up.

While I love the pairing of Daniel Bryan and Kane, we have to admit... this team has ran its course. Their "YES/NO" bit has gotten old months ago but I guess WWE still thinks it is funny.

Then you have Dolph Ziggler, a guy who should be in the main event but is instead fighting for the Tag Team Championship... a belt that no one cares about. Ugh. I guess the selling point in this feud is that AJ is the focus point. She will most definitely play a part in the match and will distract and confuse Kane and Daniel Bryan throughout the match. She even said it herself... she has locked lips with 75% of the guys in this match. The only guy left out is Big E, who is in the friend zone. Team Hell No needs to drop the titles and they need to drop it now. Lets hope that this match involving Daniel Bryan lasts more than 18 seconds. I think we might get lucky and they'll get 20 seconds.

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston become the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Ryback_Henry_WM29_zpsd8f358e0.jpg
Ryback vs Mark Henry

Battle of two brutes. This match is not going to pretty. Mark Henry is almost done and Ryback is the future. All I can see happening here is some back and forth action to make both of these guys look good. In the end, Ryback will have his Wrestlemania moment and he'll give Mark Henry the Shellshocked finisher to win the match.

My Prediction: Ryback by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Jericho_Fandango_WM29_zps73263797.jpg
Chris Jericho vs Fandango

This one should be good. It's actually different and "fresh". In case you didn't know Fandango is Johnny Curtis, winner of NXT Season 4. He never did get his Tag Team Title shot with R-Truth but whatever. Typical WWE right?

Fandango has been doing house shows for a long time. I would say more than 6 months and he hasn't had his first match yet. The crowd has been chanting "You can't wrestle" at him, not because he sucks but because he's been trolling them. For weeks now, Fandango has refused to fight because the opponent can't say his name right. So how did this match happen? You guessed it. Jericho can't say "Fahn-Dahn-Goooooooo" correctly. That and well, they wanted a Dancing with the Stars gimmick match.

Jericho is a part-timer with the WWE. He came back last year only to lose all the big matches to CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler. That's his job, to put people over. Even if Jericho loses every single match for the rest of his career, he still is the best wrestler in the business. This match is my "sleeper" pick. If given 15+ minutes, I think it could surprise a lot of people. Bottom line, you have to give Fandango the win on the biggest show of the year.

My Prediction: Fandango by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/OrtonSheamusBigShow_Shield_WM29_zpsa83175e8.jpg
Randy Orton, Sheamus, & Big Show vs The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, & Seth Rollins)

Ever since The Shield debuted, they have not lost a match. WWE actually did something right here in making this group look strong every single time. The story revolving around this match is that Orton and Sheamus need to stop The Shield. Even with Big Show as a heel, he has joined up with Orton and Sheamus in an attempt to take them down. The Shield has constantly won their matches because of strong teamwork and trust in each other. Now suddenly, we are to believe that Big Show, Orton, and Sheamus are all BFFs and they can work together as well? I don't think so.

Orton has said time and time again that he wants to be a heel. He's sick of being face and I know fans are sick of it too. He's boring as a face. Now is that time to do it. Make it look like Sheamus is going to win the match for his team, and then have Randy Orton suddenly give him the RKO so The Shield can win this match. Does Orton need to join The Shield? Absolutely not. But then again, he wouldn't make a bad leader... ;)

My Prediction: The Shield win by pinfall.

Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins

This is a bathroom break match. That's all there is to say. The good guys win just because they are going to dance afterwards to kill some more time.

My Prediction: Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/DelRio_Swagger_WM29_zpse447be3e.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio (World Heavyweight Champion) w/Ricardo Rodriguez vs Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter

WE THE PEOPLE! For the record, I love the revival of Jack Swagger, a Real American. As for the feud... I'm not feeling it. There have been a couple of RAWs where the crowd didn't seem to get the point of the story and they started chanting "USA! USA! USA!" when WWE didn't want that to happen. I think Alberto Del Rio will find a way to retain here, only for Swagger to get really pissed off and attack him after the match...

My Prediction: Alberto Del Rio retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

This will finally lead to Dolph Ziggler finally cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler is the NEW World Heavyweight Champion by pinfall.

If WWE pulls this off correctly.. this would be a great catapult for Dolph Ziggler. World Heavyweight Title and Tag Team Title in one night? Do it WWE.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/HHH_Lesnar_WM29_zps85964f38.jpg
No Holds Barred Match: HHH w/HBK vs Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman
If Brock Lesnar wins, HHH must retire.

We had this match during Summerslam last August and HHH lost. So HHH should win this one right? For some reason, I don't think he will... and for two reasons.

#1 - Cena will get his revenge on The Rock. So having HHH getting revenge on Lesnar would be redundant.
#2 - The stipulation means everything. HHH loses, he's "done". Brock loses, nothing happens? All signs point to HHH losing.

Of course, the only reason I'm picking this is because of the shock factor.

However, if we're going by logic... then HHH will win this because...

#1 - Revenge. Brock Lesnar gave Vince an F5 months ago and "broke his hip". Brock also "broke" HHH's arm.
#2 - WWE likes to be predictable. This match is the most predictable one.
#3 - HBK is in HHH's corner. Since its No Holds Barred, what is stopping HBK from interfering to save HHH as best as he can? Plus, Brock "broke" his arm too.

My Prediction: Sticking with the shock factor... Brock Lesnar by submission.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Undertaker_CMPunk_WM29_zps754a05b7.jpg
Undertaker vs CM Punk

20-0. Amazing. With that said, why the **** would anyone think he'll lose? You need to keep the record perfect for the sake of history.

CM Punk has had the upper hand in this feud. He's the one playing mind games and he's abusing the magical urn. Keep in mind that Paul Bearer's family has given this story the green light so don't think CM Punk is disrespecting anything. Undertaker never really did get to give Paul Bearer a proper tribute. I don't know how long this match is going to go, since we don't know how The Undertaker's health is. Chances are, it's great or else he wouldn't be wrestling.

I can see the urn doing some freaky magic to help The Undertaker "power up" and win to bring his streak to 21-0.

My Prediction: The Undertaker wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Rock_Cena_WM29_zpsdc54ef03.jpg
WWE Championship Match: The Rock (WWE Champion) vs John Cena

Here we go. Twice in a lifetime. John Cena is winning this cleanly. No ifs ands or buts about it.

There have been rumors going around that Cena might turn heel because he said he'll "do anything" it takes to beat The Rock. But lets not kid ourselves. Cena will never turn heel. He's had multiple chances to do it in the past and WWE is too scared to pull the trigger. Cena makes way too much money on merchandise sales and his goal is to reach 1000 Make-A-Wish kids happy. He's at 300+ which is pretty damn amazing.

The Rock will be at the Extreme Rules PPV and rumor has it is that he'll be at Summerslam too. So perhaps you can have a 3rd match after Cena wins this.

Speaking of The Rock though, I have to say... I don't enjoy him as the WWE Champion and many people don't either because he doesn't work house shows and he misses RAW from time to time. When he is actually on RAW, he doesn't do anything but cut a promo here and there. It's pretty dull if you ask me. It's time to put the belt back on a full-time wrestler, even if it means it is John Cena.

The only thing I'm looking forward to in this match... please New York/New Jersey crowd... Boo the hell out of Cena.

My Prediction: John Cena wins the WWE Championship by pinfall.

Thanks for reading.

I agree.. but with todays booking I wouldn't be surprised. It seems like whoever holds the IC or US title will always lose all their non-title matches.. which therefore makes it hard for people to care when they drop their titles. WWE has been extremely lazy and their excuse is always "Oh, if the challenger wins here, they're right in the title hunt". I hate that so much.. they don't give a damn about giving any of the mid-carders any storyline. =\

THat's my concern too. I always hate how the title holder losses so many non title matches. You wanna build up stars you have these guys defeat opponent after opponent in title matches. Build them up again to mean something. Truthfully it had been so long since I had seen the tag titles I forgot Bryan(excuse me, Daniel) and Kane were the champions. Only change I might make with the Shield is add one more surprise member just to shock people, not sure who, maybe Orton, but someone that'll make it a foursome and then you stop so we won't have overkill ala the NWO.

Wow! RAW was amazing tonight. The build for Money in the Bank and Summerslam is off to a great start.

- CM Punk doesn't want Paul Heyman by his corner anymore. Says he is still a Paul Heyman Guy, but wants to do it on his own. What did Paul Heyman do? Why, sick Brock Lesnar on Punk!
- Mark Henry pretends to retire and asks Cena to stay during his speech. He played everyone like a puppet and gave Cena the Worlds Strongest Slam because, "THAT'S WHAT I DO!"
- RVD returning at MITB. Christian finally returned tonight. Wyatt Family will debut soon.
- AJ/Kaitlyn/Stephanie McMahon storyline. Yes, you heard right... the Divas division finally has a meaningful story that people care about!

Every segment tonight brought something to the table. That has been missing for years now. I'm excited to see where this is headed. Now if only they could stop making Smackdown a filler and recap show... and give people a reason to tune in.

But man! Who are these new writers? I'm loving them!

Yeah, his column gets posted on NoDQ.com the following day I think. I don't actually go to his website though.

But he is pretty good at being unbiased.. for the most part. He doesn't seem to mind Cena though, which I disagree with sometimes. But yeah, it's nice to read what other "die-hards" think of the product as well. Especially the ones who care enough to watch it every single week, even if some RAWs are absolutely unbearable and a complete waste of time to watch.

I'm pretty sure it's planned. When the Miz used to be heel and had Alex Riley by his side, The Miz would always intimidate a random backstage person by pretending to jump him. The random guy would always stumble backwards and fall down while Miz and A-Ry laugh as they continue walking to the ring. I tried to find a gif of that but couldn't. I always thought those were funny too.

By the way, the Wyatt Family finally makes their debut on RAW tonight. I hope it's something worth talking about and not just a squash match.

I agree. Even though more than the crowd are casual fans who probably don't know who he was previously, there is just no reason to ruin a highly anticipated debut by chanting "Husky Harris". I think its the same for guys like Mark Henry when people won't stop chanting "Sexual Chocolate" or for Tensai when he gets the "Albert" treatment. Let it go people. You're not smart or funny.

As for RAW, I'm loving how the Cena/Henry feud is like 3rd or 4th on the "depth chart" right behind all the MITB ladder matches, Wyatt Family, and the McMahon storyline.

Speaking of the McMahon story, it's quite fun. I love Brad Maddox and his facial expressions. Can't wait to see what he does as GM. According to Vince, we deserve him.

I agree with you that Cena/Henry is behind those others, and rightfully so. The MITB match for the WWE Championship contract has some of the best talent in WWE. Bryan, Christian, RVD (can still go, although slightly slower than before), even Orton (as much as I despise him)....and some guy named Punk or something like that (BEST IN THE WORLD) Lots of A talent. Especially loved Punk's line about him saying is he the Best in the World because he held the title for 434 days, or did he hold the title for 434 days BECAUSE he is the best in the world.

As for Brad, I am hoping that they make him out to be a complete bumbler, ala, Mike Adamle, so the storyline progresses where might hire Vickie as an assistant and then have to run to her for making decisions. He could be great comedy relief.

I did not order or see the PPV, but after looking at the results....

Disappointed with Orton winning. I just don't like that guy. Of all the wrestlers on the roster, Orton is the only one where I skip all his interviews and most of his matches. He is my Red Wings, Ducks, Yankees kind of wrestler. Just dislike him a lot for some reason. I know that no one else in the match really needed to win, as Punk, Bryan are all ready over. Seamus is not as popular as WWE would like. RVD does not need it, as he's a part timer. Chrisitan would have been a good choice, but he just doesn't seem like main event material so I guess only logical choice was Orton.

Cena winning was ok. LOVED having Sandow win it. I like this guy and the character he plays. The others for me, Rhodes is nothing special. Swagger is right in line behind Orton for me, Cesaro would have been ok to win, Barrett don't like, Ambrose doesn't need it yet, and Fandango seems to have lost all his heat. So good choice here.

The other matches seem to have been just longer RAW matches. Nothing to write home about.

I saw the PPV and it was pretty decent. I would give it about a 7.5 out of 10.

The match of the night easily went to the Smackdown MITB. They had the best spots and just really set the bar high. While the RAW "All-Star" Ladder Match was fun in its own way, it did not come close to the Smackdown one. The story for the Smackdown ladder match was the "betrayal of friendship". The whole match, Team Rhodes Scholar worked together, as did The Real Americans. Cody stole the show in this one. He even had me pulling for him to win it, as did the rest of the crowd. In the end, when Cody was about to grab the ladder, Damien Sandow pushed him off to win it.

I'm really excited to see how Sandow cashes in his contract. He definitely won't "tease" these cash-ins like Ziggler kept doing for most of last year and early this year. I think Sandow will use his intellect and successfully cash in when the time is right. That should be fun.

The RAW MITB was a fun story too. RVD got a massive pop and took a lot of hard hits. His facial reaction screams, "Why the hell did I come back to compete in one of the hardest most painful matches ever?" I told Dexter that I wanted Daniel Bryan to win but had a weird feeling that Randy Orton was going to take it. I know most people poke fun at Orton for being Super Orton, just like Super Cena... but Orton has actually been losing a ton of matches clean the last few months. He was due for a big win.

A lot of people were upset that Daniel Bryan didn't win and were upset that Curtis Axel of all people cost him the win. I feel that Curtis Axel attacked Daniel Bryan because if he didn't, Daniel would have won the match. The idea was to have Punk think that Axel was helping him, thus the Paul Heyman backstab.

All the other matches on the card were weak though. I'm usually down for any Jericho match, but his match against Ryback was pretty dull. Cena vs Henry was 100% predictable so I didn't care much for that one either. Ziggler/Del Rio was pretty solid but they had the weak DQ finish there with AJ attacking Del Rio with the Divas Title.

The other really good match was the one on the PreShow. The Usos vs The Shield for the Tag Titles. That one went a good 15-20 minutes. Obviously, everyone knew The Usos had no shot, especially being jobbers for so long... But they made this match work. The Usos had a crap ton of near falls and was really exciting to watch.

No ladders in the ring, so what do the Real Americans do? Why climb each other of course! Only for Cody to dropkick them.. rofl. It was so awesome and stupid at the same time.

I laughed when Michael Cole said something like, "Nobody gets as high as RVD." (during the replay of the frog splash)

As for Cena/Bryan match at Summerslam... I really think Daniel Bryan is going to beat Cena for the WWE Title. Cena said he would choose someone that deserves a shot. When he feuded with Mark Henry at MITB, Cena said that the next person to hold the WWE Title will have "deserved" to beat him.

However, I have a feeling that Daniel Bryan's WWE Title reign will be short lived. Randy Orton has been itching to turn heel for well over a year now. What better way than to freaking cash in your contract on a vulnerable Daniel Bryan after his "grueling match" with Super Cena?

Orton cashing it in on Daniel Bryan will easily make him the most hated man in the WWE. I personally think that The Shield needs some kind of spark as well, especially since the Wyatt Family pretty much took their thunder. This could be the perfect opportunity for Orton to be the leader of a stable again.

If I were booking it, I would have Daniel Bryan defeat Super Cena at Summerslam by submission. After the match, Cena hands the WWE Title over to Daniel Bryan and shakes his hand. He'll leave the ring to let Daniel Bryan celebrate. As Cena reaches the stage, that's when The Shield will come out and surround the ring, ready to attack Daniel Bryan. Cena will decide to do the noble thing and help defend Daniel Bryan from the attack.

Of course, both Cena and Bryan should still be selling their injuries from the match and cannot overcome The Shield. After they're both laid out, cue Randy Orton's music. He cashes in his contract and celebrate as The Shield watches and/or clap their hands in approval because justice has been served.

It was a decent show. Loved the Daniel Bryan Gauntlet match. I wish they would have more of those actually... along with 2 out of 3 falls matches.

The Swagger match kinda sucked. While Daniel Bryan sold a lot of his moves, it still didn't feel believable enough that Swagger would have a fighting chance to get the win. Cesaro vs Bryan was freaking amazing. Lots of offensive and high impact moves from both guys. Loved the way Daniel Bryan won too. It didn't make Cesaro look weak at all. A counter from the uppercut to a rollup? That's genius.

Big Show was advertised to return on RAW, but didn't show up. I'm glad the final guy in the gauntlet match was Ryback though. He prays on the weak, and Daniel Bryan was weakened in this match. The gauntlet match was a fun 30+ minutes.

I agree with you though. The WWE App is ridiculously useless and annoying. Total Divas, I get that you're trying to promote the show. But whatever segment they planned on MizTV was a total failure. Not that I was going to watch it, but after that terrible segment... it made me wish the show would fail miserably because its stupid.

The Smackdown recaps rubbed me the wrong way last night. They want people to watch Smackdown yet that show has not been worth watching for awhile now. (Back when there was an actual brand split, I always preferred Smackdown over RAW) Anyway, everything that happens on RAW, will happen on Smackdown. If something different happens on Smackdown, they'll rehash it for RAW. So ultimately... what is the freaking point? So I get that they recapped a bunch of stuff from Smackdown, like Dolph/AJ and Big E, Cody Rhodes/Damien Sandow, and even Ryback/Jericho. But what really bugged me was the Mark Henry segment.

They recapped Mark Henry getting beat up last Monday on RAW, but conveniently left out the fact that he and the Usos beat up the Shield on Smackdown and made them retreat. Why is that? Oh, its so they could do the exact same segment on RAW. That is what bugged me the most. It's annoying really.

One last thing... I'm very sad that Wade Barrett has been reduced to jobber status. Unreal how they book their talents with the most potential in the WWE... a complete waste.

Having RVD show up and roll over everyone is not what I want to see. They could have very easily had him lose to Barrett and create a storyline out of it. I skipped RAW this week since it was taped last Tuesday and I already read the spoilers.

The Daniel Bryan/John Cena storyline is definitely fun. With the way its going, its more and more likely that Orton will cash in his contract on Daniel Bryan after he beats Cena for the WWE Title.

Orton's heel turn is long overdue. What better way than to have him be a corporate champion moving forward until Wrestlemania? While it will suck for Daniel Bryan to lose the WWE Title immediately, his next win will be even bigger.

The last 5 or 6 weeks have been very good and I would hate to go see it live and have it stink.

And to all big wrestlers, like Ryback, please don't clothesline a guy and then prance around looking at the crowd, looking at your opponent, after a while it starts to make me feel like they are thinking, "ok, I did a clothesline, not what should I do...."

Very enjoyable RAW being their live.

Bryan, Cena, Punk and Orton received the big pops for the night. Although people did not really like it when ORton RKOed Bryan, but man was the crowd loud when he got Cena.

Loved the crowds reaction to PUNK AXEL LESNAR. They were chanting this is awesome during match, which it was a very good match. Then when Lesnar's music hit the place erupted. Then it got even louder when Punk went after Lesnar and hit him with the chair, but as big a pop as Lesnar got, he was booed when he F5'ed Punk.

Then when Ricardo and Alberto came out, my son asked if Del Rio was a heel and then said that he noticed Ricardo got more boos than Del Rio, until Del Rio beat Ricardo up. Otherwise place was silent for Del Rio.

WWE SummerSlam PPV Predictions

Welcome back! I haven't done one of these predictions since Wrestlemania. As you may already know, WWE is on fire right now. I don't know what happened after Wrestlemania, but they fired a bunch of the old writers and hired some good ones. The three hour RAWs are now flowing extremely well and the show isn't a drag to watch anymore. Dexter and I originally weren't going to this year's Summerslam after a couple of years of feeling "let down" after the PPV. Obviously, WWE realized we weren't going and they decided to make the card one of the best ones. Damn you Vince McMahon! So now we're going thanks to Stubhub and the greedy scaplers there... but whatever right? Best to enjoy the show and hope it's worth it!

The Miz is hosting the PPV. What exactly is he going to do? Who knows. I just hope he doesn't take up too much time away from the other guys who are actually in a match.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Ambrose_RVD_SS_2013_zps676c1b66-1.jpg
Pre-showUnited States Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (United States Champion) vs Rob Van Dam

The Pre-show for this PPV is one hour instead of the usual 30 minutes. During the Money in the Bank PPV when The Shield fought The Usos, it went 15 minutes! So the match here could probably go longer. There's not much to say for this match other than the fact that RVD doesn't need the US Title at all. Dean Ambrose should win clean here and if he happens to lose, it will be by disqualification. A match that has not yet been confirmed is Big Show and Mark Henry vs Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

I can see RVD winning this match by DQ when The Shield interfere and beat him up. Then Mark Henry and Big Show will make the save and it'll lead to a Six Man Tag just to get them all on the PPV. If that does happen, then I see the Shield winning because they work better as a team. But it should be a fun match to start the PPV regardless.

My Prediction: Rob Van Dam by disqualification.
My Prediction if it turns into a 6 Man Tag: The Shield by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Rhodes_Sandow_SS_2013_zps00ab991b-1.jpg
Cody Rhodes vs Damien Sandow

This should be a fun 10-12 minute match to watch. The story here could have been better. Cody Rhodes comes off as a whiny prick and I'll tell you why. During the Money in the Bank PPV, Cody and Damien came out together for the World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match as "best friends". The match was obviously every man for themselves. Cody was about to win the match when Damien Sandow shoved him off the ladder at the end to win the briefcase.

Cody basically turned on Damien by attacking him saying the briefcase should have been his. On Smackdown a few weeks back, Cody went as far as stealing Damien's briefcase and tossing it into the Gulf of Mexico. Poor Damien couldn't swim but dove into the water to try and retrieve it anyway (to no avail). Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and JBL have even asked Cody during commentary one time that what Damien Sandow did wasn't wrong. They asked Cody if the situation was reversed, would have have done the same thing? Cody even said yeah, he would!

The only argument Cody has going for him is that he said he's sick of Damien Sandow "talking down to him" as if he's better than him. So yeah... whiny prick would be putting it lightly. Either way, as for the outcome of the match... I would have to give it to Cody Rhodes only because the briefcase isn't on the line. Cody should win this match so he can say he deserved to win that briefcase after all. Then Sandow should win the World Heavyweight Title in the future and perhaps he can feud with Cody again next time, but for the title.

My Prediction: Cody Rhodes wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Natalya_Brie_SS_2013_zps01f1df6f-1.jpg
Natalya w/Cameron & Naomi vs Brie Bella w/Nikki Bella & Eva Marie

The divas are pulling double duty thanks to their new hit show Total Divas. They'll have an extra match earlier in the afternoon at SummerSlam Axxess, Natalya and Maria Menounos will face Brie Bella & Eva Marie. I personally think they should have made the Tag Match for the actual PPV. That would seem like a better fit than this one on one bout.

I do think that because Maria Menounos (a guest celebrity who can actually wrestle) is in the Axxess match... they'll win that one. But as for the actual PPV match... Brie will take it. I don't know if Nikki is 100% cleared for action. If she is, they can do that twin magic where Nikki pretends to be Brie to win the match. If not, then Eva Marie will do something that will help Brie win.

After all, the main focus of the show is on the Bella Twins anyway. I personally don't expect this match to go longer than 3 minutes..

My Prediction: Brie Bella by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/DelRio_Christian_SS_2013_zpsfa343343-1.jpg
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Christian

I'm so happy that Christian is in this match. He finally got his wish. "One more match" for the World Title. Unfortunately, I don't think he's winning this one. Especially since Christian beat Alberto Del Rio clean on Smackdown a few weeks back. There really isn't a story for this match. Christian won a Triple Threat Match against RVD and Randy Orton for the right to face Alberto Del Rio. Christian has been on a hot streak since returning, which makes him look like a viable contender. Alberto Del Rio recently got rid of Ricardo Rodriguez by viciously assaulting him. Is it possible that Ricardo will interfere here and make Alberto lose? It's quite possible... but I don't think it'll happen.

I think it'll be a back and forth match and Alberto Del Rio will some how take advantage and win by submission to show that he is a dominant World Heavyweight Champion going into Night of Champions.

My Prediction: Alberto Del Rio by submission.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Kane_Wyatt_SS_2013_zpsd98601e6-1.jpg
Ring of Fire Match: Kane vs Bray Wyatt

When they hinted that this match will be a Ring of Fire Match, I was jumping for joy. The card was already going to be awesome, but this stipulation put it over the top for me. At that moment, I quickly snagged two tickets on Stubhub.

Kane has been in 3 Inferno Matches. His record is 1-2. They're calling this a Ring of Fire Match instead of an Inferno Match because you can win by pinfall or submission. The loser does not have to catch fire. I guess it wouldn't be very PG if someone was on fire these days.

The Wyatt family has taken the WWE by storm. They are creepy... very creepy. I like it. For some reason, their target is Kane. That's why Kane made it a Ring of Fire match. The idea is to prevent Luke Harper and Erick Rowan from helping Bray Wyatt defeat Kane. This match is officially Bray's first match. Like I mentioned before with The Shield in a previous prediction... there is no way Bray will lose his first match. That would be absolutely stupid. Plus, the cat is already out of the bag. Kane will be filming See No Evil 2 after SummerSlam, so the Wyatt family will destroy Kane post-match too.

It's quite possible that Kane does get set on fire, after the match. That would be cool to see.

My Prediction: Bray Wyatt wins by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/ZigglerKaitlyn_AJBigE_SS_2013_zpsf8835b7d-1.jpg
Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn vs Big E Langston & AJ Lee (Divas Champion)

Ziggler lost a lot of momentum thanks to his untimely concussion at the hands of Jack Swagger. He dropped the World Heavyweight Title to Del Rio and got stuck in this feud. In case you didn't know, Ziggler is a good guy now and so he had to dump AJ. When he did, AJ went "crazy" and had Big E (who was Ziggler's body guard) attack Ziggler. Meanwhile, Kaitlyn has lost a couple of matches to AJ because Layla turned on Kaitlyn too.

So Ziggler and Kaitlyn have both been on a losing streak. Ziggler even lost to Big E on RAW a few weeks back. You know what that means right? Yep. Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn are winning this match and hopefully they can move on to something else after this. I can picture Big E being surprised by Kaitlyn giving AJ the spear, so that Ziggler can hit the Zig Zag on Big E to win end the match.

My Prediction: Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn win by pinfall

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Punk_Lesnar_SS_2013_zps6dbc28dd-1.jpg
CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman

This match is called: "The Best vs The Beast". Hell of a title huh? This feud has been built perfectly. If you were to order the PPV for just one match, this one would be it. Ever since CM Punk came back from injury, he didn't want Paul Heyman to manage him anymore. Punk told Heyman that they're still best friends but CM Punk just wants to do it alone now. Paul Heyman didn't like this, so he sic'ed Brock Lesnar on him.

CM Punk isn't a guy who would back down, so he would brawl with Lesnar, only to fall short. I was going to predict CM Punk to win this match, but on RAW... Punk actually got the upper hand. With that said, I think that's why Brock Lesnar will win the match at Summerslam. Sure, Brock doesn't *need* the win... but neither does Punk. I also think its because CM Punk isn't going to be in the title picture anytime soon, so he can continue to feud with Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel. This match will be quite the treat. It will be a brawl, and it'll be a good one.

My Prediction: Brock Lesnar by pinfall.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/grtoocool/WWE%20PPV%20Pictures/Cena_Bryan_SS_2013_zps0b36de60.jpg
WWE Championship Match: John Cena (WWE Champion) vs Daniel Bryan
Special Guest Referee: HHH

The match everyone has been waiting for. I cannot wait to be part of the crowd when we all go, "YES! YES! YES!" in unison. That should be fun. The story here is that John Cena was allowed to hand pick the #1 Contender. He chose Daniel Bryan because that's what the people want. Everyone wants this match, except you guessed it... Vince McMahon.

This feud is revolved around Vince, HHH, and Stephanie... and that's just fine. Basically, HHH says that Vince is senile and doesn't know what the fans these days want. Vince says he does not want Daniel Bryan as the WWE Champion. He does not see him as the "face" of the company. Especially with his crazy beard and long hair. So despite what the fans want, Vince does everything quite the opposite. He's not hiding the fact that he's doing whatever he can to screw Daniel Bryan here.

Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan thinks John Cena chose him as the #1 Contender because he would be an easy victory. Daniel Bryan said he is going to make John Cena tap out. Daniel Bryan has said that Cena only does this for the money while he does it because he's a wrestler. Cena then did his usual thing about doing this for the kids, the make a wish people, blah blah blah. I hate to sound completely one-sided here, but Cena's gimmick is boring.

Anyway, back to Vince. He tried to assign Brad Maddox (the RAW GM) as the special guest referee, so he can make sure Daniel Bryan loses the match. HHH then automatically named himself the guest referee so that this match would be a fair fight. With HHH as the referee, you KNOW the finish will be screwy.

I think in the end, HHH will keep it fair. In fact, I think John Cena will put Daniel Bryan over here and actually tap out. (Keep in mind, Super Cena never taps out.) Regardless, Vince McMahon is going to interfere one way or another. He'll probably be at ringside to see Cena lose.

My Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins the WWE Championship by submission.

After the match, HHH will lift Daniel Bryan's hand in celebration and then hit him with the Pedigree. Then Orton will cash in his contract and become the new WWE Champion. I would love to see Daniel Bryan end SummerSlam as the WWE Champion, but I think we'll see Orton, HHH, and Vince holding their arms up high as they celebrate together to end the show.

Thanks for reading. Now if you're still not excited about the PPV, then something is wrong with you!

Well first time in several weeks I watched a RAW and did not fast forward through the Randy Orton stuff. I like it that he does not have the belt.

I would actually rather watch Heyman kissing Ryback for 3 hours then a 20 minute Randy Orton match....best thing was not giving the title back to Orton....Do not mind them taking it from Bryan but glad they did not just hand it to Orton. That would have ticked me off. He is dull.

Have I mentioned, or is it noticable that I can not stand Randy Orton. Almost to a degree where I would rather see Anaheim win a SC than Orton be WWE Champion. I do not like him.

Ok the Anaheim championship was a slight exaggeration. I would rather see Anaheim win 3 games in a best of 7 before losing in the first round than Orton be champion.
