I'll miss you crazy mother****ers playing Chad Starling too much and never in front of the opposing goalie's face.

And I will miss seeing the home team sitting on the wrong bench game in and game out.:1smile: I hear that's going to be fixed for the Reign's inaugural AHL campaign.

They came so close to making the Kelly Cup finals this year; but as I mentioned earlier, I had a bad feeling about tonight's outcome. Hey, at least Manchester did its part and closed out Hartford in four games to advance to the Calder Cup Finals. Go Manchester!

Thanks for some great ECHL hockey memories, boys. It was a helluva lot of fun watching guys like Dwight King, Darcy Kuemper, Jeff Zatkoff, Peter Lenes, Colton Yellow Horn, and others ply their trade. And what of Blaze and the Dark Night? Are they history, too?

I was told by Mayor the press box was also being extended.

I was hoping for both teams (Monarchs and Reign) to win their cup in the last year in their leagues. Too bad. Wore my Reign hat in Tokyo today too. (Hate next year's jerseys by the way)

Had a chance to close them out at home and took their foot off the gas. This one hurt more than all the previous playoff disappointments. So long ECHL.

they had a good run, fun times in the tin can.

You and I both! The current Reign logo could have easily been manipulated to work with the Kings base jersey. Here are two of my renditions. Yes, there's purple in 'em--so what! Manchester had it in theirs not long ago, and it looked great. "Forum Blue" has been an integral part of the Kings' jersey history, so why not celebrate both franchises' roots with a crest similar to one of these affixed to a current Kings base jersey (with the home plate logos on each shoulder). Seems like it'd appeal to both Kings and Reign fans alike. (And Blaze and the Dark Knight would still be relevant.) JMTCW.

Do the banners stay or go to Manchester?

Do the banners stay or go to Manchester?

Why would Manchester want Pacific Division banners?

When is the fire sale for gear and souvenirs?

So if the Monarchs win the cup that means we will see that banner raising in Ontario.

When is the fire sale for gear and souvenirs?

I was told most of the stuff in the store is already gone. They'll have to clear out all the game used stuff though.

I'm sure there will be some sort of auction. I was in Vegas earlier this week and went to sports store at a outlet mall where the owner had bought the entire jersey inventory for the Wranglers in a auction when that team went under.

Player gear is sold during the select-a-seat in the locker room.

What about the game-used/game-issued blue and white jerseys? I know the warm up jerseys already have new owners, and the orange 3rds were assigned on the ice after the last regular season home game on 4/4.

But seriously, what happens with the Monarchs and Reign banners?

Most likely nothing. It's just the players that are moving, not the team name and city.

Won't the Monarch's new championship banner be raised in Ontario this fall (since it's an AHL versus ECHL related item)? It'd be weird to raise it in NH and not have any of the players who won it present for the ceremony. Maybe have ceremonies in both locations to honor the fans in NH?

Well, at least according to the local news feed, the banner will be raised in Manchester on Tuesday and will stay there. Which makes sense.

That they did,

http://lakingsinsider.com/2015/06/18/thursday-morning-links-june-18/

but an individual I spoke with this past Sunday during the Select-a-Seat function at CBBA said there would be a banner raising ceremony here as well, and I don't think they were referring to the Reign's new ECHL Pacific Division champions banner. Guess we'll find out for sure on October 23rd when the Reign play its first AHL home game. Looking forward to seeing the Calder Cup champs. playing in Ontario this fall.

Some in Manchester, however, aren't too keen on our ECHL boys heading their direction:

"GREG BARRETT said Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 5:55 pm

The next Mayor of Manchester should become actively involved in recruiting an AHL replacement team for the City of Manchester. we deserve better than the sub standard mess coming our way."

Based on the latest count, quite a few! Really excited for the season to get underway. Are you on board for next year?

I missed the event about two weeks ago. Still trying to manage, both kids needed braces so there went a few seats.

They have a 10 month no interest payment plan that helps out. You could also vacation your unused tickets and use the balance for the games you'd be able to make.

It's now a 6 month payment plan -

Also, mini-plans deposits are now available for the AHL season so you can definitely set up a plan to visit the Reign if you have Kings tickets. 909-941-7821 for more information.
