Weekend Conversation: What?s Your Favorite Comfort Show?
http://uproxx.com/tv/favorite-comfort-tv-shows/

Thanks to Uproxx for the idea. Figgered we could get a few pages out of this.

So...what show do you Netflix/Hulu/watch syndicated repeats of...when you just want to stare at the tv and watch something that you have seen a gazillion times.
I'll start...

When we were in the hotel for SDCC Archer was constantly on. When we were getting ready, winding down...whatever. Basically background noise with the occasional seriously paying attention moments.

Futurama has filled that void for me personally quite a few times too.

Our DVR has about 30 hand picked I Love Lucy episodes and 20 Gilligan's Island episodes that are in constant rotation as background noise in my home. Not just me either, wife and kids too.

Sadly, I haven't had the time and/or need to pop on a comfort show in a long time. So, I'm not sure what that would be now. In the past would have been The Brady Bunch, Three's Company, I Love Lucy, The Twilight Zone, Our Gang, The Three Stooges, Speed Racer, or Giant Robot; now, if I have the time and such an inclination more likely to be a movie like Big Trouble in Little China, The Princess Bride, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory or Star Wars.

Have to add South Park, I can watch that forever.

And unwrapped (Marc Summers edition) puts me in a state of zen whenever it's on too

Many of these tend to be shows that happened to have been/are on TBS or TNT when I'm getting ready for work in the morning.

I was hit or miss on a few TGIF shows, but I can watch Family Matters any time it's on.
