Truly a sad sad day. A bit of all of our childhood passes. I have no words.

My sister works at a hospital (not UCLA) heard scuttlebutt from nurses that Carrie was "brain dead" by the time she was brought in to the ICU. Family's wish to wait till after Christmas to have her removed from life support.

Very Sad

What happens is you go to space and you become weightless. So far so good, right? But then your body expands??? But your bra doesn't—so you get strangled by your own bra.Now I think that this would make for a fantastic obit—so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra.-Carrie Fisher

R.I.P., Carrie. Thank you for the iconic character you created.

Met Ms. Fisher when I first went to work for Paul Simon in the mid-80s.

She was a bit strange and she made Paul nervous...

Even dead, she has a sense of humor. This is her urn. It's a giant Prozac pill.
