I'm trying to set my schedule for the next four to five weeks but would like to know approximately when the next three rounds will be played. I've looked around but can't find anything.

Game 3 had it all: Fights, brawls, cheap shots, deep stares, empty benches...and it's only game 3.

It was like SLAPSHOT - I mean the only players not scraping were the goalies...Game 4 will be must see TV...

I saw Abdelkader come from across the ice, leap into the air, AND target head... and the punishment is the same as Brown's? What a bull**** double standard.

I'll start, and I never thought I would say this cause he's a former Duck and I hated him, but Chris Kunitz has evolved into the real deal. Capped off by his 2 goals in the Penguins game 3 win over the Islanders, 1 of which was the game winner in OT, and added to his numbers of the past 3 seasons... I think he's a tremendous asset to any hockey team.

Penalty wise I think the call on the ice was wrong and was simply a reactionary call by the refs. The facial wounds and blood on the ice appear to be the result of Eller landing face first after being knocked out cold on his feet.

Gryba hit Eller cleanly with his shoulder into Eller's chest. No doubt Eller was knocked out due to his awareness of catching a pass and not expecting to be hit right afterwards.

This whole play happened because Diaz shipped Eller on the FedEx express to Trolley trackville with his suicide pass.

I hope Eller is ok and returns.

Hope Diaz or any other Hockey player watches this and learns not to put their team mates into this situation because it almost always ends badly.

I agree with Paul MacLean's assessment even though he may be biased because of being the Sen's Coach.




Update: The Montreal announced Thursday that Eller had been hospitalized after sustaining a concussion, facial fractures, loss of consciousness and had teeth knocked out after the hit and falling face-first to the ice.

I get being confident, but that's bulletin board material there.
