I've been here! after my cousin and i graduated college we went here and celebrated with some people. I never found out why they closed.
I've also been to their sister bar that was in irvine, right across the street from my apartment. I loved it for the proximity and because they never carded me so I could drink up and hang out with older people at age 19, lol. they closed because the family people in irvine just couldn't bear to deal with all the drunks... and fights in the parking lot...

from the list, I've been to Qs and baja sharkeez. Qs was 10 yrs ago for a usc law school party. it was ok, nothing special, but I definitely noticed rich boys with polos and collars who don't actually play pool. I've only been to baja sharkeez in hermosa for lunch... because the guys I was with thought the waitresses were hot. we have one here in Huntington beach as well and I noticed THAT's when our downtown area started attracting a nighttime clientele that turned it into the jersey shore of the west. :-/

I've been to the Westwood BC last year ("what? you don't make your own beer?!!") and Q's in Pasadena.

WBC actually *used* to make their own stuff. the copper tanks are still in the back. I went when it was a slow week on campus, thankfully. their pizzas were pretty good.

Dillon's ain't my favorite place, as it does attract a douchey crowd, but it's hard to hate on $3 pints and waitresses dressed in pseudo-schoolgirl outfits.

A bar isn't douchey until I start visiting it. :good:

It's a damned shame as Angelenos we do not get the joys of 'banging' waffle-house waitresses. Notice how most of these descriptions have 'frat' in the sentence. Coincidence...I think not.
