I'd believe it too. People don't want to cook for themselves but don't want to spend the money for eating out in real restaurants. My dad says that's why places like Panera and Corner Bakery are doing well right now (or at least better than other restaurants), because it's less expensive than a sit down restaurant with a waiter, you don't have to tip and people think it's healthier. If you don't want to cook, $12 for pasta from Pizza Hut that supposedly serves 4 is going to seem like a good enough deal for a lot of people. Depending on what you order, it's hard to feed 4 people at McDonalds for under $12. I'd imagine the idea that it's pasta is going to trick some people into thinking it's healthier than pizza or another fast-food alternative might be.
