Yep, but trust me, i'm a nut.

I don't eat any buffet or take-out chain sushi either, hell...I won't get sushi from a non-sushi restaurant regardless of it's classiness.
It also has to be made by a japanese person, preferably a man. I also like to watch it being made so unless the party i'm with is too big i'll sit at the bar.

there's a Kyoto also in Sherman Oaks, on Van Nuys and Moorpark, behind In N Out. not sure if they serve all you can eat.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!

I know they used to be, but I'm not sure anymore. Something tells me no. I heard through the grapevine that the owners weren't very pleased with the hospitality that the staff at that one provided. I've never eaten there, so I don't know.

I believe they do. They are run by the same Kyoto's in Stevenson Ranch and Valencia. Personally, I prefer the Valencia location. Large (unlike the Stevenson Ranch one), and good quality fish!

There is a family that has three sushi places in San Diego, Hana in Oceanside, Taisho in Carlsbad and my favorite, Tadashi in La Jolla. I think it is $24 a person, which isn't too bad and the sushi is always very, very good. The trick is you have to finish what you eat. If you don't finish something you order, you have to pay for it.

I feel the exact same way. If the tuna isnt cut by a japanese man taking sake shots ordered for him by patrons, i dont feel comfortable eating it.

Chomp Sushi in Downtown Fullerton on Thursday nights. It think its $25, and they have drink specials. I hear it gets crazy there, so get there early. And yes, the sushi is made by Japanese men who can barely speak Engirish.
