Very bad. French fries are supposed to be crispy and not look limp and shriveled up like an 80-year-old's pecker. The way to properly fry a fresh potato is to thoroughly dry it before frying it, otherwise you get the limp fries that In-N-Out serves.

I like how they taste (and it's about taste right?). Pure fresh taste, you just need to make sure, as has been said, to eat them hot, put some salt, and you may want to get them well done. On the other hand, a place like Carl's Jr may have fries that are as stiff as Peter North, but they taste like ****.

My problem with the fries at Carls Jr. was that they were always soggier than Peter North's victim......

I gave up on Carls years ago.... can't believe people still eat that stuff.

If you want them crisp ask for them well done.

I've tried. They're still crappy. You can't cure limp.

Yeah, I went there maybe 3 times in the last 10 years, only because I had no choice in the middle of the night due to it being the only 24 hour fast-food joint near my house.

you obviously havn't really had well done fries then, cause i get them all the time and they are always very cripsy, borderline crunchy.
