Anything like Fresh Choice in LA?

I was wondering if there is anything similar to "Fresh Choice" in LA?

We'd be more interested in the make your own salad/salad bar part and not the 'all you can eat buffet' part.

Yelp has suggested to me: Mrs. Winston's Green Grocery, Greens Up!, and Tender Greens. Yea? Nea?

I don't know anything about "Fresh Choice," but some nicer supermarkets have self serve salad bars by the pound. Gelson's, & Ralph's are the ones that come to mind right now but there must be others.

Sweet Tomatoes is also just like Souplantation, and I think it's the same company even.

I usually hit the Ralph's for a quick salad bar fix but if they don't have good bacon-bits I pass. The Salad bar bacon bits look hand cut, so the pieces are a nice size.
The Ralph's I go to is I guess one of their "upscale" stores. I don't know how common those are around town.

The pre-packaged Hormel, etc bacon bits aren't as good...too ground up like bacon dust. heh
