Rick Bayless should be made an honorary Mexican, his knowledge of Mexican cuisine is up to par with Mexican grandmothers.
What bull**** that Bayless got beat by "Taco Bell" Bobby Flay on Iron Chef. Next thing you know Morimoto will get schooled by the part time noodle cooker at Yoshinoya.
And now you know why I refuse to watch the "new" Iron Chef. Bobby Flay is a Food Network douche-star, Rick Bayless is not. It's rare that the challenger ever beats the Iron Chef. It's so stupid. It's not like the network is gonna hurt if their "iron chef" loses to the obviously more talented challenger, but whatever. At any rate, you'll probably never see me eat in a Bobby Flay joint cuz I can't stand the guy. But at SOME point in my life I will go to a Rick Bayless joint. I have to!Quote:

I don't know if Whole Foods still carries it, but about a year ago, they sold Frontera salsas. I happened upon a Frontera salsa sampling table. Mild, green, chipotle and habanero. I walked out of the store buying the chipotle and habanero. The habanero wasn't nearly as hot as you'd expect, but the flavor of the chipotle salsa was really nice.
