I like to use them as a substitute to butter or oil for cooking. I have used the lard to make pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiched, rice, etc.

now that my wench has been on a diet, so olive oil is the main ingredient. :(

I'm making three tapas (well not really tapas, more like small plates of really yummy food) this Saturday for a nice little get together.

Bacon mac-n-cheese
Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese
and baked bacon slices to be served with the cheese and charcuterie(sp?)

The wife says that this much bacon is over kill. To which I say "are you high? You can never have enough bacon".

I'm really looking forward to saturday.

Too much bacon is like too much money. You can never have enough.
