This place needs a bacon porn thread.
I just picked up some applewood smoked thick cut bacon from the butchers counter at vons for $3.99lb. This stuff is amazing. You can actually taste the smoke unlike other "applewood smoked" bacon you buy pre packaged.
Albertson's does have a thick slab of bacon that is smoked.
anyway, you lucky dog. not all Von's, Ralph's, Albertson's, etc have butchers that would go the extra mile for such a request. I hate that.
That is just not right,, I can just picture that bacon wrapped around a nice Kielbasa, smothered in peppers and onions and spicy mustard on a nice firm sourdough garlic roll,,,

I saw a video on epicmealtime.com about a burger that was 109,000 calories. That thing was insane. There was bacon in the bun, bacon in the burger, bacon in the cheese, and bacon... IN THE BACON!!1!
