    Default Bacon-infused bourbon

    I am not making this up. Tony's in downtown has bacon infused bourbon. They get raw bacon and bourbon and filter it.

    I tried it yesterday (thanks mcsorelyminute !!!) and can say it has a different taste. There is a hint of bacon, in a good way. The bartender is also a hockey fan and a cool guy.

    To all the usual suspects, I say try it. It is not as sweet as the bacon donuts but what is ?

    I don't make these things up. I just buy them and indulge in their bacony goodness.

    Hmm.... bacon doughnut with bacon bourbon ??? Nah.... too gross even for me.

    One of the places featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives served that. Although they put the rendered fat in and let it sit for a while before chilling it and skimming it off.

    Yeah but imagine how great the marinated bacon would taste though.

    the alcohol would also kill most of the nasties that may be present in the bacon. You're safe.
