I haven't had a good once since my divorce. Damn, I haven't had any decent Asian food since my divorce. I lost all those connections for these sammiches as well as good Bun Bao.
I need to find me a good Asian woman

The first time I went to a Vietnamese food store (I think on Magnolia/Westminster) I swear it was like the Old Asian Lady Stock Market! All kinds of hollering and shouting and I got so freaked out I didn't know how to order.
Good thing I brought a friend.
Anyways, yes. Those sandwiches are teh bomba.
I go to the Lee's by UCI quite often as it is right down the street from work. It is pretty rare when I can get a hearty meal under $5.
BTW, I prefer the chicken ones.
They recently opened a Lee's Sandwiches on Valley that has a drive-thru.
#5 Grilled Pork
Hey, they have franchise opportunities available. Hmm....

LOVE Bánh Mě. Count me in for a ham or BBQ pork with paté any day, any time. There's a local place that also does a lemon grass chicken or tofu version that's light and good too, and their mini baguettes kick...****ing...ASSS.
I just started eating these, and let me say, amazing. I usually just go into a pho restaurant, and buy them there. I used to think all pho or Vietnamese restaurants had them, but they don't after an unsuccessful quest in Garden Grove. But, if you're in Riverside, every pho place has them.
ya... most restaurants are cuisine specific. if you go out to cities where vietnamese restaurants aren't as concentrated, you'll get places that offer more because they have less competition.
in garden grove, for example, they'll make more money (and make a better tasting dish) if they just focus on selling just one type of food.
the Pho in riverside sucks!
you're right about making the trip to the SGV for these lunchbox.
I was also wondering if anyone had tried bun cha? (sp?) I saw it on No Reservations and it looked great. It was just rice noodles and grilled pork.
