Went down there tonight with a couple of friends, with the oddity that the one who recommended it is a vegetarian and loves there fried green tomato sandwich and their beers.
While I've blown down PCH many a times heading down to the OC, I think it has been many years since I actually hung out on Main Street. Man I forgot how cool it is down there.
Anyways, the beer selection is alone worth going. While waiting for our table I got a Breakout Stout which was delicious. Later on in the meal I had the Hairy Eye Ball which was insane.
We got a steak fry appetizer which had melted blue and grueyere (how do spell it) cheeses with hot sauce. It was good, probaly better when drunk. My main course was the smoked brisket with potato salad and asparagus. The brisket was fantastic, melted in my mouth like butter. Our girl friend got the combo plate with pork and chicken, the chicken was outstanding and my veg buddy had the green fried tomato sandwich.
All in all a fantastic little place. definitely will be going back.

The asparagus was soooooo yummy!! I've only been there once but I was really impressed. I forgot which beer I had but it was Mexican and it was good. That doesn't sound right....
