    Had some of the bacon today. REAL smoke flavor from apple wood. The whole house smells really good now. The bacon barely shrinks!

    damn i wish i lived near here, anybody know of any good places like this in the south bay, i usually go to the local mexican meat market for asada or chicken, but id like to know of a good butcher just for good cuts of steak

    I went in yesterday and they got in a shipment wood chips, all different kinds. I picked up some mesquite chips and a really thick rack of baby back ribs. OMG, it was amazing!

    Im having my parents pick up some stuff for me on saturday so cant wait.

    Ill probably do the chicken thing and do a bit on saturday and again on sunday. Since youve been going semi regularly RR-any recomendations on some other items?

    I only get my Baby Backs there. Period. The thickness is nice, and it isn't all fat (not that that's a bad thing, mind you).

    The "grade A" chicken is off the hook, buy a whole one and have them cut it up for ya and don't forget the free seasoning. All you have to do is drop it on the grill.

    I'd also recommend the filet mignon (some of the best I've had) and also the apple-smoked bacon. Maybe even wrap a piece around the filet before grilling it.
