The best beers to make sake bombs (aka sake shooters) with? God help me, but I've gotten into
sake bombs (shooters) lately.
Anyway, we tried 'em at home with several beers,
and by far the best combo (We used Sho Chiku Bai sake), was with Blue Moon Belgian White Ale.
The 2 blended like alcohol soul-mates!!
We all agreed (all 3 of us), that that particular combo
created the best total flavor.
The other 2 beers, Corona and Miller both worked OK in the blend, but the Blue Moon already had a kind of sake-like flavor, and was the clear winner
for best taste.
Anybody else find a particularly great beer to mix with sake in a sake bomb?
