Ok, I was at Jimmy Fox's house last week. He and my buddy-Mike Smith(winemaker)-are working on a Pinot Noir project-called Patine'. Patine means to have skated, very appropriate for Jim. It is sourced from Gap's Crown and the first release is 2011....very small production. He plans on making a Chardonnay in the near future. Think he will be able to find this at some steakhouses, like Mastro's in Bev. Hills soon....The label resembles a puck, kind of cool. check out my notes on it here:

Brad Pitt and Angelie Jolie just released their first vintage of a Rose from Mireval(Provence) that is supposed to be good-at Wallys. That is in conjunction with the Perrin Family at Cht. Beacastel in the Rhone.
Keyshawn Johnson is now in the wine biz, making a Cabernet from Oregon.
You can probably tell I am into wine. We've had lots of pregame wine dinners at Mortons/Yardhouse around a Kings game.
