I am not a fan of Wolfgang Puck, but Tratoria Del Luppo in the Mandalay Bay is outstanding. The pizzas are ordinary, but the veal, chicken, pastas, etc are worth the price. Dinner for two without drinks runs about $100.00

One of the best So Calif Italian places is right across the street from my house. La Parolaccia in Long Beach.

Family owned places are the way to go for local Italian (I can't talk to Italian in Vegas other then Il Fornaio).

    Ricci's in Bellflower is wonderful

There's another great family owned hole in the wall in north LB (on Studebaker) that I can't remember the name of that makes the best lasagne I have had (and I am Italian). It will come to me and I will pass it on.

Bertolini's in Las Vegas is a good off-Strip, family-owned place. We want to try Lucio's next. It's also on the west side on Sahara.
