Anyone care to make some red recomendations thats a good value per dollar? I know Whites generally serve well with thanksgiving but Im a red wine man. Im open to both actually so any experts want to chime with in with some Wine picks for Thanksgiving?

I bought: Shiloh Road Cabernet '06 - Very smooth, easy to drink and only $8/bottle if you buy 2 bottles.


Some others around here recommended the Shiloh Road Syrah '06 but Bevmo out here in Westlake Village was out.


A little bit of higher end wine: Henry's Drive Parsons Flat Red '05 - but considering it's 1/2 off with the 5cent wine sale, it's a great buy. It's a blend of Shiraz and Cab. $45 for 2 bottles.



I still have to try out the other 6-8 wines I bought.
