Default BJs Pizza- Concur with others: they're sliding

Got a gift card and took the family; had to throw in my 2 cents that this place is sliding. We ordered a pizza and I kid you not I dont think it had any sauce. Now the quality of the ingredients made it worthwhile but it was obvious that they prepared a ready made crust and simply threw the ingrediants on top. Whether the forgot the sauce or simply no longer use it Im not sure.

That said-the table tent did have an offer the looked promising....1/2 price wine Tuesdays! All glasses and bottles 1/2 price. Skimming some of the selections looked like there were a couple of bargains to be had and even ordering the bottles would be roughly the same price at the supermarket. Might make a nice combo with happy hour.

Anyhow, others had mentioned that BJs was sliding and I can confirm that was my experience as well.

The first time I had BJ's was over 10 years ago, and I thought it blew. I tried the pizza for the first time since then about 6 months ago and I l liked it - but also thought that it was very dry.

I'll go again to drink, but not to rush back for the food.

I tried the pizza on my first visit to BJ's a long time ago. They're lucky I ever came back.

I do like some of their other offerings, like the huge football sized baked potatoes. But I generally avoid the place, unless we HAVE to go (i.e. someone's birthday).

I used to go there for the pizookie. I hadn't been for years and we tried the restaurant in Torrance a couple of months ago. We had to over an hour to get a table, the pizza was meh, and the pizookie wasn't as good as I remembered it being.

I would love to hang at BJs for Happy Hour.... but for 20 bucks a pizza there are much better places to go.

I usually don't order the pizza there because it sucks, but I had a slice of my wife's pizza a few weeks ago and it was definitely worse than ever. As someone else said, very, very dry - the crust definitely seemed like it was premade as it was also barely warm.
