well typically for the french (or at least our family), you eat them more with something like a roasted pork tenderloin at dinner time. lol.
for drinking, you might have olives.
it just so happened i had made a roast for a dinner party and my friends decided to keep eating the cornichons when we moved onto drinking.

So the pickles are like how the Aussie's eat orange slices covered in cinnamon with their tequila.
...just seems like a lot of jar opening and stuff...and keeping things in the cupboard...and going to stores other than Cap n' Cork...lotta work, is all.

oranges and cinnamon for tequila ? Blasphamy !! Now to try it myself. Sounds strange... They probably drank the cheap crappy tequila.
