Tried a sample of it at a local pub. I thought it tasted terrible. I do not recommend this beer to anyone.
But, 'different strokes for different folks.'. Perhaps you'll like it.

Well, I'd drink just about any beer before Heinekin, or how ever you spell it. Thanks for the info guys, I had heard good things about it but i was skeptical because it is Budweiser.
The fact they are now owned by Belgians and they are pushing a 'real' american beer is a bit hokey, buuuut i suppose its nothing different then any other product these days.... sigh....
I had a feeling this had been in R&D for long before InBev bought them and I was correct.
"Budweiser American Ale has been in development since early 2007, and we're very pleased with this brew. In competitive blind taste tests of craft beer drinkers, Budweiser American Ale significantly outperformed other craft brands in terms of consumer preference," said Tom Shipley, Budweiser brand director, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. "We believe Budweiser American Ale will only enhance the high regard and reputation Budweiser has earned over the past 130 years of brewing heritage."
Next time Obediah leaves his house I will give it a try.
I'm guessing they may have it to try in the Hospitality Center at Sea World, so hopefully I'll try it there. I need to get there again soon. Great reason to have a Sea World pass![]()
Friend brought over a 6 pack for the game the other night.
Surprisingly very tasty. The best Bud has to offer. It had a Sam Adams feel to it.
But expect good things to come from Budweiser now that InBev bought them. good things like Stella and Hoegarrden.
