haha, ya i figured that's likely. i had mentioned not getting to try it to my husband and he said we could go any time. i told him though that if i wanted to BUY a burrito, i'd just go down to las barcas down the street and get a carnitas or carne asada burrito. i'd actually avoided chipotle for the longest time because they used to be owned by mcdonalds and the size of their burritos is kind of disgusting to me. i'm really put off by huge portions, but i could have gotten over it and just split it in half if i got it for free... lol.
Yeah, there is no reason to go to a Chipotle when you can get cheaper/better Mexican food all over Southern California. Chipotles are so damn loud inside too, can't stand it.
If you have a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place down the street from you, you have no reason to go to any Mexican fast food place, let alone way overrated Chipotle.
I actually give credit to Chipotle for the size of their burritos. They are quite large. Other than that you could pretty much get the same burrito at any other Mexican fast food place, and probably get free chips on the side.
Honestly, Az is rocking it.
Chipotle is bad and overpriced. At least you can get cheap stuff at Taco Bell Or Del Taco.
But yeah, you can get better and cheaper Mexican food in So Cal.
There isn't exactly a shortage of Messcans here. mhihi:
I am trying to be funny. No offense intended. <3
i have a personal aversion to really large portions. i can't really stand costco for that reason, looking at all the food in giant containers is kind of gross.
The first time I went to Chipotle I knew something was up when they put rice pilaf in my burrito. Who the hell does that?
Perhaps in name. Not really in taste. Tasted bland regardless.
