Out of spite for all of you morans who don't like Carl's Jr, I went and got a Superstar combo today. It is great.

Plus, they still have 99 cent spicy chicken sandwiches, AND several combos under $5 now.

i was never meant to eat at carl's jr.

more than 10 yrs ago, i was with someone who didn't bother to order me anything while we were going through the drive-thru. said someone then had a major case of rage on the drive home.

then when i was volunteering at a health clinic in college, about 8 yrs ago, a carl's jr. worker came in. he had acute hepatitis C, but his main concern and reason for his visit was that he wanted something to get rid of the jaundice in his eyes. they were bloodshot and yellow. there wasn't anything we could do and he was advised to stop having unprotected sex AND to take time off work until the acute phase passed. he wouldn't listen and kept insisting on help for the cosmetic issue.
hep C is highly contagious... and i was grossed out.
i'm sure there's plenty of other sick people working on your food elsewhere, but that seriously left a bad taste in my mouth.

oh and now my husband legally represents carl's jr.

There's a reason I don't go into any restaurant kitchens. Odds are you're gonna see something gross no matter what restaurant you're talking about. I have no problem with Carl's Jr and appreciate the hot womens in their commercials, however I don't like to hear the lip smacking mouth noises.

edit: however, if they're the ones behind those fake "hidden camera" commercials where people can't tell the difference between a $5 and a $15 plate of pasta, then they can go DIAF. I hate those damn commercials.

Just got back from lunch and WOW was the Guacamole Bacon Six Dollar Burger a great piece of burger. I like how they made the guacamole a tad bit spicy (Hey, I'm Mexican.) with a good amount of onion/tomato. The only thing that would have made it better would have been this.....



Yup. Same girl.

I think she's taken better pictures.

That being said, even based on that one, I'd tear her apart.
