McDonalds is 3rd, i used to love 1/4lb ith cheese as a kid but just dont likem much anymore, but Chicken mcNuggets always a guilty pleasure, and for budget reason i can get a whole meal and dessert off the 1dollar menu for about $5(including a side salad, drink, burger or two, ususally i create the spicy chicken-McDouble cheese burger, and a sunday or apple pie) A side note on current McD apple pie is not as used to be made, the crist was flaky-er, which i think has been reincarnated in Taco Bell's current Apple Empanada
when i was a kid, i ate the apple pies, too. they used to have a flaky apple turnover like outside with sugar crystals on it. now it's some doughy, nonflavorful crust with cinnamon on it. i don't like it and i don't eat it.

another thing i had when i was a kid was the chicken nuggets. i have those once or twice a year, but try not to have it more than that because they're not good for me.

    1) hot chicks & burgers seem like water & oil, but they aren't. They rule as a team! And here's my logic.
    a) most women don't like red meat. I say this because I worked in the food industry for 15 years. Very few women eat red meat, so showing commercials of (attractive) women may make them rethink their stance on the consumption of cow.
    b) Most men love red meat, and most men love hot chicks. So the commercials are a win-win for the guys. And guys are the target demographic for the commercials.
    2) $6 Burger is just fantastic. Yes I realize that they pre-cook the burger, but I dont care.
    3) Am I the only one who thinks In-N-Out is overrated? I have one within a minute's walk from my pad, and I have been there twice in two years. I drive by and smell the grilled onions, and then I think of how much better a $6 burger is, and I drive there instead.
    4) Chic-Fil-A = sac-o-$h!t This is the worst excuse for a chicken sandwich out there. Pickles on a fried chicken sandwich? WTF?
    5) JITB has survived off of its tacos and funny ad campaigns for too long. Their food is meh. The guy who does the voice of Jack is funny though. Jack was spot on and funny as hell on the Adam Carolla Podcast.
    6) Burger King is like Jack without the funny ads and wonderful tacos. In other words they suck!

In general, I'd have to say Carl's Jr beats all of them.
Now if we compare the Counter to Carl's Jr, there is no question that the Counter would win.
    1) i like red meat, but i'm REALLY picky about the quality of it. i'll refrain from ordering it if i'm either sure it's no good or unsure if i'll be satisfied. ie, i usually only get it when i'm at a good steak house. usually when i have it, it's because i cooked it myself at home.
    2) i agree. as hard as it is to believe that those hot chicks eat messy burgers, it's mostly a marketing tool for guys in your demographic than it is "reality".
    3) i'll only eat in n out burgers if i have fast food because they have the closest to ethical meat. oh and i do think they're good. i usually get a cheeseburger with onions and pickles, no sauce & well done fries.
    4) i'm also in the small minority that's not too fond of chick fil a. the chicken seemed dry to me. meh.
    agree on points 5 & 6.

    No.

Anyone remember that the $6 Burger used to be like three bucks? That was the whole point of the name - tastes like a six dollar restaurant burger, but it is only $3!! Now it's a six-dollar burger because it costs six bux. And not worth it. You could get a Tommy's double with chili cheese fries and a coke for that!!

True but it was also 6+ years ago. Prices go up. Soon they will have to change the name.

I wonder if they'll still honor the 16 free Sunrise Sandwich coupons I have with Carl's signature on them that I've been using since the mid-80s??? Well...it dropped from 500 coupons to 16 from that span... If they'll still honor them...it should be perfect...otherwise...there's going to be 15 Carl's souvenirs spread through eBay...
