No offense to anybody, but do people still consider Carls Jr. as decent food, and worth the outrageous prices?

CJs actually already has a Sourdough Jack ripoff. I think it's called the Sourdough Bacon Cheeseburger or something. I actually like it better than the Sourdough Jack.
You're thinking of a Hot Carl.
I saw a commercial for the Grilled Cheese last night and decided I'd have it for lunch today. I'll get back with you with my 2 cents.
So, has anyone tried one yet? I really wish they would make a variety without the burger patty.
Wasn't bad. Definitely more cheese, but I got the double so it may have skewed the ratio. Liked the cheese, bacon is always a plus.
It was kinda small though. Granted, a single patty meal is $5, but I got hungry a couple hours after having the meal.
Good snack, not a good meal. I'd get the single next time for something to nibble on, knowing it wasn't gonna sustain me long.
Certainly would recommend trying it, with that in mind, of course.
I tried two and I liked them both.
They will make one without the burger.
The article said it came about when they were thinking of ideas for vegetarians and made a pretty good grilled cheese.
But then someone thought it would be better with meat, and turned out they were right, so they added more meat and made it even better. but they said grilled cheese would be aavilable upon request.
I know you loled when they showed the add on the jumbotron in the intermission.
Maybe it was just me.
I dunno that looks good but i saw a burger on man vs food that had, I think 5 patties, 5 eggs, 5 strips of bacon and grilled cheese sandwiches for a bun. That's a heart stopper...no, really!:drunk::skull:
I tried one today. First put off was watching one guy slam down two grilled piesces of bread with nuked cheese in front of another guy. The second guy made sure I got a freshly nuked beef paty and did take a bit of care tossing on a couple pieces of bacon and wrapping it in its appropriate piece of wax paper. (Gotta love semi open kitchens.)
In all, the smushed corners with oozing cheese paper and bacon hanging out were tasty!! The rest......eh.
Will go for the jalapeno burger next time. Or maybe that pineapple burger.
