I really like Rick's Burgers in Uptown Whittier. Been going there for more than 20 years and they haven't changed at all. Nothing fancy, just a dam good burger.

Yep, Rick's makes a good burger. Use to go to the ELA location a lot as a kid, been to the Whittier one too. Their shakes are also very good.

I like Arry's in Montebello better for a Char-Broiled burger though.

Goto the Shack in Marina Del Rey.

Shack Burger with fries and a pitcher of beer.
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

King's Burger in Northridge, inventors of the pastrami burger.

Okay, this will sound ludicrous and by no means am I stating that this was the best burger I've ever had, but the egg and bacon cheeseburger at IHOP in N. Hollywood (the N.H. Shootout location) was freaking awesome. I've had it a few times (yes, I'm slightly suicidal) and it has not disappointed each time.

Oh, and the Widowmaker at Claim Jumper is righteous.

cheese hickory burger from Apple Pan. Just ask for them to be easy on the green and it can't get any better than this.

Yes it can, man. Stop believing the hype. I've had The Apple Pan before and while the burger was good it wasn't great or groundbreaking. Their apple pie will be the reason I ever return there.
