Concur! That is one thing I have missed up here in Washington. A Tommy's run for Double Chili Cheese and Chili Cheese Fries is one of life's simple pleasures.

Island's Teriyaki Pineapple burger is pretty good, too.

Ooh, that reminds me... A-FroGirl's husband makes a kickass teriyaki pineapple burger, too!

Also love their fries, ask for some buzzrd sauce for them. Yummmmm.

Gotta love the original Tommy doble cheeseburger from Rampart and Beverly. Double cheese with a tamale...........pure heaven...

maybe in the next month or so, I ll plan a watch party over there for people in the SFV. There are 5 TV's in this place and it has a FULL bar with great beers on tap.

These days when I want a burger I hit "The Stand" in Encino.

But Don's was the best! It obviously was a special place to a lot of people. Last year, someone I know threw a "Don's" birthday party for their sister. They built a set that looked exactly like the inside of Don's and got someone who had worked there to make the burgers. Sadly, I was out of town, but everyone I knew who went said the burgers tasted just the same.

Now, I have to go search out Rocky's. I'm at the Empire Center at least twice a week, but I can't picture where this is.

Is that Rocky's affiliated with the Rocky's in PB San Diego? Because THAT is the best cheeseburger I've ever had, hands down.
