I've eaten at Philly's Best twice now. Both times, mammoth disappointments.

Picked up some food from Philly Grille before the game today. I liked it. Got a 2-for-1 coupon online Entertainment Online (up to $7) so for 2 full sandwiches it came out to like $11.30.
BIG sandwiches, me likey! The bread was really good. Got one "The Works" cheese steak and one "John's Special" hoagie and ate half of each. Saving the rest for tomorrow.

Great..Now I'm craving a Philly cheesesteak sandwich...Thanks..LOL
Sounds like a few places to check out next time I'm down that way...Thanks for the tips!
And...FWIW...Dave & Buster's has a pretty good sandwich as well (They also have the chicken variety). Pretty decent sized sandwich, lots of meat, cheese, onions & mushrooms...Bread is good too...

I didn't like the one at D&B, but I usually don't like that style of sandwich at those types of places (D&B, Fridays, Chillis, etc.)
Time to go eat my leftovers from yesterday!

Phillys Best...I haven't had anything close to that yet...
Mainly because the bread compliments the meat, onions and cheese so well. Most places try and hide the bread by piling on toppings, spreads, and more meat or cheese.
