Try the breaded fish taco, it's worth the wait. Don't let them forget the Santa Fe Sauce!

Had the one in YL and Newport. As somebody else already said it's pretty similar to Chipotle. The carne asada has no flavor and the salsa is below average.

I've really struggled to find a good taco shop in OC since moving back from San Diego. There are half a dozen places in SD that all put to shame anything I've had here. It's kind of annoying.

Dude. Go to GreatMex, esp. on Tuesdays and Fridays. $1 tacos and they're actually pretty tasty. And for a buck, worth it. Its on the corner of Newport and...Wilson...I think. But be sure to call your order in ahead of time and take the cruiser cuz the parking lot fits about 5 cars and the place is PACKED on those nights. When you call in your order, if they say "10 minutes" give them at least 20. Add in 2 carnitas tacos to your order and then come by my house to deliver them and have some beers.

If I feel like driving I go to El Toro Bravo on 19th Street. If I want to walk then Great Mex it is (it is not the greatest though).
