I'm STILL looking for a perfect Reuben...
There is a place in Pasadena called the Sandwich Company. its by the Best Buy plaza on Foothill. Anyway, it has the best Reuben I've had so far. The owner cookes all the meat there and slices it fresh for your sandwich. I had them slice it thin and was really suprised how good it was!:mj:
I was just kidding dude. I eat my Corned Beef with the usual suspects. I was just funning you.
You make your own Kimchee? I eat Kimchee every 2 or 3 days so I snagged a receipt before I left home in Hawaii. I NEED Nashiki, Aloha Shoyu, Wasabi and Kimchee to live dude....serious. I would kill if I didnt have them available here in Virginia.Would bail.
Nah, I just hit the asian market for it. :) I'm pretty particular though, I don't like to eat the stem part, only the leaf. lol. When in Hawaii I get the local brands, Kohala or Aloha.
I had a japanese pickle press at one time for cucumbers and I've pickled watermelon rinds but never tried kimchee yet.
