Finally went with KJ on Christmas Eve. Really good burger. Didn't realize the 2/3 burger was the after cooking weight. Won't order as much next time. Love the choices of cheese, sauces and topping. THe Horseradish cheese was off the hook. The peppercorn sauce was good. Forgot to put on burger so only dipped it. Need to try it again to get full effect.
Liked the Sweet Potato Fries as well. Almost as goos as Beachwood BBQ's. Hope they open one closer soon.
It's open now in the newish Plaza El Segundo in the back section. I guess I need to try it.

They're opening one soon in the valley too--corner of Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd.
The Counter is pretty fabulous...but it will set you back a couple bucks. I'll still get my fix at the Habit and treat myself from time to time at the Counter
Went for dinner 2nite, pretty decent burger w/ the toppings.
Yesterday I split some sweet potato fries (great) & onion strings (not bad but nothing special) with the table, and for myself ordered a 1/3# beef burger with provolone, bacon, tomato, pineapple, olives, roasted red peppers, bbq sauce, and mayo, topped with some of the leftover onion strings, on a honey wheat bun. They forgot to put the peppers on, so the waitress brought some out on a plate - ice cold and disgusting.
The burger was still awesome without it. Messy as hell (had to use a knife and fork) but that's ok.
And yes - a diet coke. Cope.
Sandwich of the month is Mahi Mahi - tempting, but I was in the mood for beef. Maybe if I get back in this month I'll check it out.
I am going to try the turkey next time I am there.
The Manhattan/El Segundo one is open, i need to check it.
Gonna be checking out the San Jose location in March when I'm there for the Kings/Sharks game... Sounds like a great place - will probably end up having to go to one here after that trip!
