Hollingshead is is great, used to work by it years ago, still swing by to say "Hi" to Kenny and the family every time I am in the area. Some of the best deli-sandwiches around and great people. I will have to check out the Back Abbey then. In Fountain Valley at Magnolia and Warner, there is a new TapHouse going in that finally after years of construction looks like it is on months/weeks away from completion, I am hoping they have a great set of handles there..fingers crossed for lots of local breweries to be represented, west coast that is.

Back Abbey is mainly Belgian style beers, so not really a craft brew establishment, but certainly a great place for beer lovers. I'll be having a burger and beer or two there, and then moving on down the street to Eureka, since Wednesday is "Steal the Glass" night. Nice to have such great selections within walking distance.

In South OC check out, Bru Grill & Market - Lake Forest CA, they opened a few months ago and have a great selection of beer and good food to boot.

For bottles...Stearns Liquor in Long Beach.

For those that are up near Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, and Thousand Oaks, do yourself a favor and go check out LadyFace Alehouse off Kanan in Agoura.

Dave the Brewer makes some awesome beers and he's a huge King's fan. Game 3 was nuts in there. They have great guest beers on tap, some very intriguing bottles in the cellar, and 20% off bottle Tuesdays. On top of that, their Happy Hour is 3$/pint for their house brews. Their two IPAs and Porter are awesome.

I was just at Beachwood in Seal Beach yesterday. There is a new craft brewery opening in Claremont soon, called Claremont Craft Ales. Looking forward to trying their brews, once they are up an running.

Has anyone tried Limericks in Upland? I met one of the bartenders who works there, and she suggested I give it a try. Reading some reviews, it appears to be a hockey friendly bar, with a pretty decent tap.
