Ladyface just released their barleywine which comes as a surprise to me as I thought that was a late-winter release. Not that I'm complaining at all. I like hops, but summertime is kinda a dearth and barren wasteland for dark and malty beers.

I thought the same thing but I'm certainly not going to complain. Their Porter is delicious, too and I don't hesitate to have one on a hot day. Sneakingly refreshing...

Their porter is good, but I've always felt it lacked something in the middle. The start and finish are great, but the middle is unremarkable. Just my opinion. I told Dave I wish he would brew Midnight Special year round.

Dave the Brewer makes some awesome beers and he's a huge King's fan. Game 3 was nuts in there. They have great guest beers on tap, some very intriguing bottles in the cellar, and 20% off bottle Tuesdays. On top of that, their Happy Hour is 3$/pint for their house brews. Their two IPAs and Porter are awesome.

    Here's today's beer board.
That menu board seriously caused me to salivate like a Pavlovian dog.

Claremont Craft Ales opened in Aug if this year, went for the first time last weekend. Their Roble'd red ale and Jacaranda IPA are very good.

Dale Bros in Upland has a new location near the airport. Personally I like their Black Beer, most people find their Runway IPA very enjoyable.

Stopped off at Noble Ale Works in Anaheim before the Rush show at the Ponda last month and their IPA and ESB are worthy of repeats. The Chomp Chomp good truck frequents here and makes a great tofu burger.

I'll def be back to all three of these craft breweries.

in other news, Golden Road is now serving 4 of their beers on tap regularly. before the expansion, they were only able to hold 2.

isn't it great watching the baby grow up so fast?
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
