Default Craft Beer Establishments in Orange County and beyond...

Just like it says..so where to you go to find the good stuff?

Here are a couple on my list:

Baycrest Wine and Spirits in Costa Mesa

    Liquor Warehouse in HB

    Slaters 50\50 in HB

Hero's and Legends bar and restaurant in Claremont, Ca.

I won't mention any of the obvious ones,,,

Btw...Drake's Hopocalypse anyone? One of the better double IPA's I have tried.

Personally I like the selection at Eureka Burger in Claremont much better than Hero's/Legends.

Lonehill Liquor in Glendora is one of the best around. The owner now owns the liquor store on Arrow and Fairplex in La Verne, and their selection is much improved.
    Wasn't thinking of anything specific

Still haven't made it to the one in Long Beach, but will be stopping by the one in Seal Beach on Friday afternoon. One of my favorite places.

Eureka Burger is definitely good, and the food is much better. I have been there a few times when the service absolutely sucked however. Have your tried this place?

One of my dad's favorites, but I have not sampled it yet. http://www.thebackabbey.com/page3-9/Beer

Keep 'em coming all, good info there.

Yes, I love the Back Abbey, and still think they have the best burger ever made. Planning on heading there tomorrow. I know most of the people at both places, and always get great service at Eureka and Back Abbey. It helps that I bring them fresh baked cookies, so they like to keep me happy.

Down in Orange County, don't pass up Holligshead Deli. Great place, only problem is it isn't open on Saturday's anymore. Used to be a regular meeting place for a few of us. I think I still have a mug on the wall there.

Hollingshead is is great, used to work by it years ago, still swing by to say "Hi" to Kenny and the family every time I am in the area. Some of the best deli-sandwiches around and great people. I will have to check out the Back Abbey then. In Fountain Valley at Magnolia and Warner, there is a new TapHouse going in that finally after years of construction looks like it is on months/weeks away from completion, I am hoping they have a great set of handles there..fingers crossed for lots of local breweries to be represented, west coast that is.
