All Amedei chocolate is fabulous, but for the coolness factor I give this box the highest possible recommendation.

I want that! I made a list of chocolate brands I want to taste and I can't find a single one around here to buy. ****! Here's the list; who has tried any of these and what can you tell me about your experience?

The best I have tried so far is Cot D'Or (dark of course) with orange. A couple of Lindt chocolates are not bad either.

A couple of recommended brands disappointed me though, like Dolfin chocolates in their silly "plastic pouch". I also tried some very expensive German chocolate and I didn't like it. Maybe I'm a middle class chocolate guy and I wouldn't like chocolate like Amadei? :(

I can only do milk chocolate in combo with peanut butter.

Someone made dark chocolate/toffee bark and brought it to our office yesterday. OMG.. it tasted like a little slice of heaven.

reonick, your post is scary in that everything you wrote is as if I was describing my tastes, and my wife's as well.

I wished you put all of the above as an option, since this was a hard poll. I chose dark because it's not too sweet unlike the other 2. Dark chocolate is at its best when it becomes a Pocky flavor called Men's Pocky. Best Pockys ever!

La Maison du Chocolat has the best chocolate I have ever had! We went there while we were in Paris(2005) and then again in London and Paris when we were there for the Kings/Ducks games in August. The boutiques are AMAZING. It's like going into a jewelry store.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I prefer white chocolate.

Dark is definitely my favorite. My parents gave me a bunch of Godiva 72% Cocoa for Christmas, freakin' delicious.

the milk one by itself just doesn't do me any justice. it's like drinking bad beer with bad aftertaste.
