Default Doing Glazed Crock-Potted Corned Beef

Though I love this stuff and make it a few times a year. But today is the day.

Bought a Harris Ranch Corned Beef Brisket and it's been in the crock pot since 7. Will pull it out about 5ish, put in the carrots, red tators, and cabbage, and glaze/braze the brisket in the oven while the veggies are cooking. Good stuff Maynard,

    What are you all doing?

we got the brisket so big (4 lbs) we've split it up into two. one for the crockpot and one for the dutch oven.

in the crockpot are Gunness, water, cloves, carrots, onions, red potatoes and cabbage (at near the end). cookin for 9 hours.

in the dutch oven, 3 hours of water and cloves, then the same fixings as above added later.

this is our first time for both styles.

We did one on Sunday since we were really busy Saturday. Crock Pot and I had a 2.5 lbs due to the fact I didn't know if my kids would like it. Big mistake! They loved it and I had one piece left for today's lunch! LOL!

We did in Crock Pot with Apple Vinegar, Sugar, Potatoes, Onion, Carrots, Cabbage, Salt and Pepper. 8 hours cooking time. All was well!
