Dont buy Jumbo Jacks

Went to Jack in the Box today as I had a coupon for 2 free tacos...service and everything was good but I had to write about the Jumbo Jack.

I remembered these fondly back in High School in particular the sauce they used. So I ordered one simply for that blast from the past/nostalgic reasoning and have to say-this burger sucks. Almost reminded me of the burgers youd get at the High School Cafeteria or the Drive In Snack Bar. Not that I was expecting a double/double but that had to be the worst burger Ive had in a long long time. The JJ made the 2 tacos looks like a work of culinary art.

JITB has some good items for a fast food place....but the Jumbo Jack is not one of them.

If youre getting a burger from Jack it should be the Sourdough Jack, those are the jam. Another great one that one of my stoner friends "invented" is the Spicy Chicken Taco Sandwich which is pretty much as the name sounds, a Spicy Chicken Sandwhich w/ a Taco in it, it is extra delicious and heart attack inducing w/ Ranch on it.

Sucks for you. Last time I ordered a Jumbo Jack (or a Yumbo Yack as the drive thru lady called it) it was fresh as can be with crispy, cold lettuce. I was impressed for a 1 dollar burger. Sourdough Jacks are legit, too.

Considering you went to Jack in the Box for those tacos...I don't think you are qualified to talk about food quality.

I stopped getting Jumbo Jacks when they were no longer 99 cents. I think the patties got smaller as well.

Last time I went I got the Sirloin Burger Combo, which is good, but bloody expensive. I hadn't been there in a while and was surprised how much prices have gone up.
