No lie man, I live up in the high desert and would easily drive to Boyle Heights for El Tepeyac before heading to San Bernardino for Miguel's any day.

Went there last year with friends and had the Manuel's specials. I've been craving going back for a long while now but have a hard time making that drive out there alone, especially with gas prices as high as they are.

I believe they do, but I always go for a burrito at Mannys, I imagine they would be very good. If you're in West Covina and in the need for Carne Asada Fries, go to Albertos in Covina.

thanks for the tip. i totally forgot about that pic of carne asada fries you posted in the foodie thread. damn, i'm hungry now. lol. this thread is making me really want to try manny's and then also go to alberto's.

LOL i don't that is possible! here is a picture i took today of a hollenbeck carne asada burrito, actually this pic doesn't do it justice.

the new location is a bit modern looking compared to the original location, the food is pretty damn good though. of course it loses some points for nostalgic reasons, but i will be coming back for burritos and beer.

haha, oops, didn't mean at the same time. HAHAHA. i can barely finish one burrito in one sitting. LOL. i meant i'll try them both eventually. preferably soon!

I am amazed at the amount of guacamole they give you with the taquitos. Seems like they give you a whole avocado for each taquito. Awesome.

After 2 taquitos and a Hollenbeck, I have to have someone roll me out to the car, but it's so damn good!
