Thread: Fatburger: Chapter 11

I haven't eaten at a FatBurger in a few years since I moved from Woodland Hills where I had one a mile away and not an In N Out in sight.

But back then I thought they were pretty good. Kingburger w/ cheese on the char-broiler. The char-broiled flavor alone gave them better flavor than In N Out. But yes, they were rather expensive. I can only remember paying full price once. After that, I didn't go unless I had a coupon.

BTW, IHOP has a bacon cheeseburger with egg on their menu and it is pretty damn good! IHOP is pretty underrated, IMO.

In Fatburger, you have to ask them to cook the meat on the charbroiler, that way it's not bland. Fatburger has charbroiled turkey burgers, that's a win in my book.

The Counter and their veggie burgers are pretty nummy though, but it's costs $$$$,

Man, I loved me some Fatburger back in the day...with the fried egg of course.

Bringing this thread back from the dead for some unabashed praise of In N Out. Hey, it beats starting it's own thread.

There's no reason or Fatburger to be as expensive as it is. Or complicated.

In-N-Out is cheaper and better, as are any number of other places. Heck, look at Johnny Rockets.

Johnny Rockets is horse**** compared to Fat Burger

They drove themselves into BK by nothing more than their prices... Who the hell is gonna spend $8 on a burger from a fast food joint???? I would if it was the best damn burger I've ever had..... maybe... But fatburger is far from that... The ONLY thing they have going for them is all the toppings, but it ends up being not worth it if you spend $8+ on it..

They closed the one up the street from my house a few months back.

No more burger runs, walking the dog, and midnight :(
