I have a unhealthy addiction to a Jersey Mike's Giant#6 Roast Beef and Provolone sub w/everything on it. I have one once a week now after having 2 a week for about 2 years. Im recovering I think.

I also have a habit of drinking too much Starbucks. In the summer months I destroy a Venti Mocha Frapp every afternoon. In the winter months its a Extra Hot Triple Venti Latte...once and sometime twice a day. My wife is worse. She drinks between 2 and 3 Grande Nonfat Latte's a day, 365.

I need something , anything every few days with shoyu and wasabi in it. Sushi, Sashimi, Manapua, blackened Ahi, Mandoo, Dim Sum...etc. ANYTHING.

Not really addicted to sweets or deserts like a bunch of people. I tend to drink my sugars.

    What are your food addictions?
Holy jesus, you spend almost 5k a year just on starbucks?!?!?!

As for me, mexican food, anything with Cumin, chipotle, REAL frijoles, and tortillas...oh and cheese, lots of freaking cheese...

And if I don't get a decent pizza soon, I'm gonna lose my freaking mind.

I've been brewing my own for a couple of years now. It's far superior, fresher, and much cheaper. I figure I save about 100 bucks a month brewing my own (yes, I drink a lot).

The coffee at Starbuck's really isn't that good. The Pike's Place is reminiscent of Patty Roy's bathwater, and the bold just tastes like water from an ash tray. Way too expensive for a lousy product. I've never had any of the other drinks, except for the Frappuchino which wasn't too bad.

I had a roommate with an identical situation during our early 20's. Every day his diet consisted of lunch/dinner/midnight snack at the following places:

    Weinerschnitzel
    Carl's Jr.
    Taco Bell
    In N Out

Once in a blue moon Arby's was thrown into the mix, or Burger King. But no joke, every meal for several years was strictly limited to fast food. Never gained a pound, thin as a rail.

Now, at 26..... things have caught up to him!

You've got at least 5 years until you have to worry about anything.

If you really want to get geeky about coffee. Try buying green coffee beans from Sweet Marias and roasting your own. I do this from time to time and brew with my chemex.

When I'm up north, I like to get coffee from Blue Bottle.

Yeah, a few years ago my wife and I did. Not now though. Once we realized how much we were spending, we slowed down.

ya, I used to work at Starbucks when I was in college and you all would be surprised how much the regulars would spend. they'd come in every, sometimes 3 times a, day and order the same $5 drink...

I also used to be able to eat whatever I wanted without any repercussions... until I turned 25. then I had to gradually cut stuff out or cut down in order to not become a fatty, heh. just this week, I'm on a no booze, no cheese restriction so I can fit nicely into a tiny dress for a party this weekend. my husband, on the other hand, is 35 and can still eat whatever he wants. damnit!

damn being a woman! why?!? and i NEED a lifetime supply of chocolate.
oh speaking of Starbucks, which i try not to buy anything from there, my favorite is a Vanilla Bean frappuccino with caramel in the cup and on top with the whip cream. it's orgasmic! and i have no further comment on that.
