I would just get green iced teas from Starbucks but I would splurge and get the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate when they used to have it.
Oh, I really miss the Chantico (sp) sipping chocolate they had like 4-5 years ago.

Glad I can't find Spitz sunflower seeds here in LA, because I'd eat them all the time otherwise. I haven't even tried the chili lime. Sounds dangerous.

Never been to a Jersey Mike's, but they just opened one in Pasadena. I guess I'll have to drop by this weekend. What does "done Mike's Way" mean? Their website didn't explain.

Mike's Way is lettuce, tomato, onions, oil and vinegar and Mike's special spices (I think this is black pepper, oregano and something else) all very liberally.

And I am having trouble finding Spitz but dude the Chili Lime are freaking awesome. You gotta try 'em.

Light roast espresso. I roast my own beans because I like a quality medium roast.

Breakfast, poached eggs on buttered white toast.

    Bechamel sauce.

Tonight for dinner, I made garlic mashed potatoes and pan roasted NY strip steak with bechamel and a drizzle of port wine reduction. I served blanched carrots in a butter/brown sugar glaze on the side. I could eat like this every day if it wouldn't kill me.
