Food Truck Fun!

Komodo was parked spitting distance from Staples Center at noon today. I had the Signature Burrito with amazingly tender steak that tasted almost like stew meat with lots of guacamole, FANTASTIC!! The Truffle Fries were the bomb with parmesan and truffle oil on thin crispy fries. I also sampled Lice's meatballs that were kinda like Swedish meatballs without the gravy and also tasted the guacamole eggrolls I think. EVERYTHING was INCREDIBLE and nice huge portions.

I'll hit this truck again any day! Decent prices too!

was there a long line for this komodo truck?

Not at all! There were a total of 4 different trucks (well, one was a Korean fusion stand/grill): Komodo truck, SliceTruck, The Place LA Truck, and the Korean fusion grill.

Most people walked by, looked, but didn't stop. We were able to place our orders pretty much right away.

I had the Killer Combo, which included a Komodo taco, a Burgerrito taco, meatball dish, and a drink. I also ordered guacamole rolls for us to share.

Yum! I'm hungry again!

I am disgusted by this whole phenomenon. Keep sucking truck fumes while you wait for your trendy high end roach coaches. And yes...that is what they are. Usually folks eat out of roach coaches because they have no choice. You people are twittering and running all over town to eat at meals-on-wheels rejects. And hey, that's so great for the environment all you prius owners...another smoke belching stink machine. You guys would eat out of garbage cans if it became trendy. Blast away sheep...I stand by my convictions.

I don't necessarily disagree with you but you've got to try the food before you judge. Some of it is REALLY good.
