Tacos de papas with cheese, guacamole & salsa from the truck that comes by my work are awesome. It's the Ramos Catering truck with the headlight held on with 2 rolls of duct tape.
Latin Asian Grub
Hollywood Taco. Nuff said. I think they lace it with crack.
Some other ones to try are the Vesuvio Truck (Italian food with killer rice balls)
Tropo Shave ICe (Hawaiian Shave Ice)
Lomo Arrigato (Peruvian Japanese)
Nom Nom Truck (Banh Mi sandwiches)
Cool Haus (Ice Cream Sandwiches with BACON ice cream)
Grill Em All (Heavy Metal and Burgers)
Ragin Cajun truck (by the owners of the Ragin Cajun Cafe)
Wow I wish I would have seen this thread sooner. The company I work for has one of these trucks come down to serve lunch the last two months and they will continue to do that. Two months ago we had the "Chomp Chomp Nation" truck show up and this month they had the "Dos Chinos" truck providing lunch. I never went out there because one of my coworkers has scared our whole department about the dangers of eating catering truck food so no one in my department has ever tried any of it.
The company usually has the trucks in on the first week of the month so I will be sure to let you all know what will be here next month. I will also check to see if the food is free for us, if it is, then you can just pretend you work here
For anyone wondering, we are off of the 5 @ Jamboree in Irvine.
more food truck fun. Food Truck Fest at Santa Anita racetracks on April 2. 60 trucks will be there.
yes, 60 food trucks. I wonder how they will all fit inside the oval tracks.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
Ever since this thread started I've been wanting to try one of these food trucks, but haven't had a chance. Walked out to lunch today with no idea what I wanted, saw a Fresh and Meaty Burgers truck. Decided to give it a try, and since I'll be having lots of red meat tonight, ordered a turkey burger. Wow! It was fresh, it was meaty, and it was cheap!
Afterwards, did a quick search. Apparently, it is not just a truck, it is a burger joint in the 'hood that has a pretty good rep. If you see one of these trucks, I highly recommend it.

Just got word that the next food truck to show up at the parking lot where I work will be the "Rancho a go go" food truck on April 1st. The food will not be free but our site says that the food prices range from $4-$6. I looked them up and it seems that this is a barbecue food truck.
Here is a link to some pictures of their food:
I'm always looking out for an LA or OC Gourmet Food Truck. Are you?: Anaheim: Rancho a Go Go at Noble Ale House
And here is a link to the event with our address in case anyone is in the area.
