Oh boy. that looks good. There is a german meat market near me in Montrose. I have to make this! I only use ham hocks for pea soup, but this looks so good I went and looked up the recipes. Easy to make, just time consuming.

I am living vicariously through you Fisch, you go out to eat at the best places!

Well, I'm a bachelor that can cook but I waste more and tend to overeat more when I cook for myself...though I am trying to cut down on the meals out. haha
I got the Schweinshaxe as take-out. It did also come with cucumber salad, brown gravy for the egg noodles and mustard for dipping.
