Awesome you remember my Pomona jokes and references. The last University I graduated was there, and while I did spend a good amount of time there, I never lived there. I think, lol, I am afraid to live there because of it's reputation. Lots of meth heads hang out in Pomona's dowtown. :O

so my father-in-law makes a pan con tomate that's absolutely delightful. it's a catalonian thing... i had some bacon with it though for some protein. can't really go wrong with bacon, right...?




in return, i made him a double layer pumpkin cheesecake for his bday.




another thingamajig that i made recently was a fattoush. recipe by nigella lawson. delicious pita bread, cucumber, tomato, parsley, mint, lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt and sumac salad.

I'll take a slice of that cheese cake!
