But I vote Bobby Flay because he is a typical NYC dillhole. And I have the same opinions of NYC as Homer Simpson and Lee Ving.
Does Bobby Flay only spit as good as he sucks?

On a serious note I agree with ya....the Ego on that guy is just out of control.

You are missing my point. The key word is TWICE MY SIZE. OrangePuck does not object to the occasional cute chick with curves. I'm a 250lb guy. I don't think it's a lot to ask for my woman to not be TWICE MY SIZE.

although half my size would be preferred
    I seriously doubt she's 500 lbs.

That's Frank Newbold, her business partner. He's been on the show a bunch of times.

If only it was just her head. The girls got a mouth the size of the grand canyon which contains about 50,000 teeth. She's got the boca of a great white shark.

I agree!! He calls them all out, plus has a great story.

It's a close one between Paula Deen, Alton Brown. I had to go w/ Alton 'cause of the annoying camera angles and his stupid demeanor on his show. He's kinda tolerable on Iron Chef though.

I picked Rachel Ray because her TV show is AWEFUL! I don't mind her 30 minute meals..... actually I like the show. Alton I think is cool and I have nothing bad to say about Paula. Bobby Flay seems like an ass because he thinks he's as good as god and Sandra's show is cute for those of us who work full time but would like to have nice dinner parties (though I've never had one... I would like to). I'll give it to those who said Giada is good looking...... I wouldn't say hot as her head is as big as half of her body!

I had no idea the Food Network was so popular.

Among the four, I've only heard of Rachel Ray.

    I guess that's a good thing.

Paula Deen is okay, but her two sticks a butter with a cup of white sugar and a cup of brown sugar recipes are just too much for me.

Bobby Flay is teh man with the grill. He makes lots of stuff that would be great if he didnt yuppify the recipe so much.

Alton is informative on Good Eats, but i agree that he is on way too many shows.

On to the good. Giada is great. My girlfriend and I use her recipes the most. She seems to just use simple ingredients and simple techniques while using quality ingredients.

Michael Chiarello (sp?) makes some good stuff pretty frequently too

The Dinner: Impossible show is entertaining every once in a while.

Also, on the Discovery Home channel there are a couple of shows that are good, IMO. Chef at Home (link) and Kylie Kwong's (link) shows are pretty good.

On public television...Rick Bayless (link) and Ming Tsai (link) arent bad at all.

oh boy. did i really just write that much about cooking shows
I agree - Giada's recipes are the most "user friendly" so to speak. They are simple and delicious. And I love making her Panettone french toast during the holiday season.

Rick Bayless is AWESOME. I think he loves Mexico more than most Mexicans.

Ming Tsai is on PBS now? I must find and record his show. I miss "East Meets West."

Jamie Oliver is one of my favorites. I own a few of his cookbooks and the recipes I've used have been delicious.

Rachael Ray is by far the most annoying. If she says EVOO one more time....
