After trying a foie gras topped burger at Les Halles in NY, I decided that while I do love burgers and foie gras, to my taste they're better enjoyed separately.

I got some funny looks from the dudes with the salads at the next table over when I got foie gras and a side of fries with their house mayo on the side. it was a great meal though. we were there late after a mets game so the kitchen was mostly closed down but the waiter made me crêpes for dessert. I love that place!

No doubt, but every once in a while it's nice to indulge in flavor explosion.

I believe the "Kobe" beef from Burger Bar is an American blend in kobe style. I do know that REAL Japanese Kobe is not worth putting in a burger...

I googled 'kobi beef and Long Beach' and Jesse James' Cisco Burger came up. Anyone tried them? Guess I'll have to wander over to the West Side.
